Victim reported that sometime between 1900 hours (prior date) and 0800 hours (this date), person(s) unknown entered their 2013, Toyota Camry, by unknown means, and removed the victim’s purse and all its contents (wallet, DL, bank cards, us currency, etc.). Total loss estimated at $600.
16011886 2219 hours Burglary (Residence-Forced Entry) NE 3rd Ct
Victim reported that sometime between 1940 hours and 2200 hours, person(s) unknown entered the residence by prying open the back door. Once inside suspect(s) removed several electronic items along with a small safe which contained jewelry and personal information items. Total loss is estimated at $3,190.
16-11686 0454 hours Stolen Auto 2670 NW 1st St.
A blue 2004 Ford F-250 with FL tag Y32CUA was stolen with a trailer attached with unassigned FL tag 800RWK. The trailer contained approximately $20,000 worth of lawn maintenance equipment. The vehicle is not marked with any business name. No registration information was provided on the trailer. Vehicle was most likely taken at 0440 hours when family members heard a noise outside and discovered vehicle missing. Vehicle and two tags were entered into F/NCIC.
16-11708 0720 hours Burglary Construction Site 3401 High Ridge Rd.
A posted construction site containing several storage trailers and partially erected structures was burglarized between 02/27 at 1700 and 02/28 at 1200. Entry was made by cutting lock of gate entry. One trailer lock was cut and $11,490.00 worth of tools was stolen. Several trailers on-scene were not tampered with.
16-11781 1155 hours Resist without Violence/Retail Theft 650 N. Congress Ave.
W/M, Cole Rancour, 03/27/90, was involved in a retail theft at Target Stores and was observed leaving in a blue Ford F250. Vehicle was stopped and Rancour was observed with the described stolen items. Rancour was ordered to exit the vehicle and began resisting efforts to safely detain him. As Rancour tensed his body, Officer Schalk performed a takedown. Rancour arrested for his actions and retail theft. No injuries reported. SIR in progress.
16-11802 1346 hours Armed Burglary Residence 1202 NW 5th St.
B/M, Alcin Jerry, 11/09/88, arrested after investigation revealed he was burglarizing the residence when he was interrupted by the victim returning home. As the suspect exited the back door, the victim entered the backyard and was immediately confronted by the suspect. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim, which was stolen from the residence. The firearm was dropped in the yard as the suspect fled. Officer Passaro arrived on-scene and was given a general area the suspect was headed. Officer Passaro intercepted the suspect and he was taken into custody without incident. TOT PBCJ.
