Officers met with W/F Michelle Small, who reported that sometime between January 4th at 0915 hours and January 9th at 1700 hours; an unknown person(s) entered the aforesaid location. Small stated that once inside, the unknown person(s) stole several personal items (i.e. jewelry/etc.) from therein.
16-001553 Shots Fired/Suspicious Incident 543 SE 27th Way
Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, after a canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities – the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident until such time additional information can be gleaned.

A chopsaw and air compressor was stolen from the bed of victim’s truck between 01/08 at 2330 hrs and this morning at 0900 hours.

After Officer Albanese arrested W/F, Ashley Carter, 12/15/86, for retail theft, a search incident to arrest revealed she had in her possession .2 grams of Heroin in small plastic baggie. TOT PBCJ.
16-001470 1151 hrs Fraud Arrest 550 N. Congress Ave.
Officer Rini arrested, B/M, Leon Burnett, 03/29/87, after investigation revealed he used a fraudulent FL DL to identify himself as the owner of a valid credit card and purchased an Apple Macbook. He was charged with Grand Theft, Possession of Fraudulent DL, Fraudulent Use of Credit Card, and Criminal Use of Personal Information. TOT PBCJ.
In celebration of the ideals and dreams of Martin Luther King Jr., Chief Katz and members of his Command Staff joined Sergeant’s and Officers to march in the 2nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade/Community Health Fair. The Boynton Beach community was well represented by a large number of attendees, who were very supportive of the BBPD.

Officers met with victim, who reported that sometime between January 7th at 2000 hours and January 8th at 0800 hours; an unknown person(s) entered her unsecured Blue 2003 Volkswagon bearing NY GGU4813 and stole several personal items (i.e. loose change) from therein.
16-001322 Residential Burglary – Delayed 114 NW 6th Street
Officers met with victim, who reported that sometime between January 6th at 1400 hours and January 8th at 1600 hours; an unknown person(s) entered the aforesaid location. Liang stated that once inside, the unknown person(s) stole his Ryobi circular saw from therein.
16-001333 Vehicle Burglary – Delayed 2021 W. Woolbright Road
Officers met with victim, who reported that sometime earlier in the day; an unknown person(s) entered her unsecured White 2002 Toyota RAV4 bearing FL 260RVE and stole several personal items (i.e. purse w/ contents/etc.) from therein.
16-001137 0452 hours Burglary Auto Arrest 221 SE 1st Ave.
Officers responded to the area reference a male looking into vehicles, upon stopping the individual, W/M, Michael Ferranto, 03/09/95, investigation revealed he was in possession of credit cards, checks, and jewelry that were not his. One victim was located, reporting her credit card stolen from her vehicle, located at 407 NE 2st St., reference 16-1151. Another victim was identified, but no contact established at this time. 16-001142 0624 hours Strong Arm Robbery 1000 block SE 4th St.
60 Yoa victim was walking northbound in the area when he was struck in the head from behind and fell to the ground. Victim did not lose consciousness and observed a 60 yoa B/M remove his wallet from his pants. Suspect fled and was not located. He was described as wearing a gray sweat suit with unknown writing on the front.
16-001167 0813 hours Burglary Auto 2670 N. Federal Hwy. # 1
Unknown person pulled back the soft-top victim’s Jeep Wrangler and removed a briefcase containing a TD checkbook, sunglasses, and other effects, between 01/07 at 2130 hours and this morning at 0800 hours.
16-001197 0909 hours Felony Narcotic Arrest 2200 W. Woolbright Rd.
Officer Loy was conducting selective traffic enforcement and stopped a vehicle for speeding. She made contact with the driver and immediately smelled unburnt marijuana emanating from within and told the driver she could smell it. The driver, B/m, Christopher Butler, 09/11/91, then handed over a bag of marijuana, later weighed at 13.7 grams. Butler was arrested and his vehicle was searched. Officer Loy then discovered 112.4 grams of marijuana in one plastic baggie, and 100.7 grams of marijuana in other plastic baggie. Additionally, a small baggie containing .6 grams of cocaine was located within the vehicle. The vehicle Butler was driving (silver 2002 Buick Century) and $635.00 in U.S. Currency were seized for forfeiture. Butler was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Unknown person stole a pressure washer from the shed in victim’s backyard between 01/07 at 2100 hours and this morning at 0500 hours.
16-001258 1205 hours Burglary Auto 900 Via Lugano Cir.
Victim reported unknown person entered her vehicle, damaging the dashboard and several interior components, taking a Gucci Iphone case and a Fitbit charger, sometime between 01/04 at 1700 hours and 01/05 at 0930 hours. No forced entry found to vehicle.
16-001260 1208 hours Stolen Auto 1319 N. Federal Hwy.
A white 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 UHAUL with AZ tag AG71823, was reported stolen since it wasn’t returned on 12/15/2015. FCIC/NCIC entry.
16-001121 2229hrs Possession of Cocaine 1005 N. Seacrest Blvd
Officer Herny observed a black male Nicholas Matheney, walking through the closed city park. He observed Nicholas’s right hand clinched and it appeared he was attempting to conceal something on the right side of his body. Officer Herny went to make contact with Nicholas who turned around and began walking towards him, and while doing this, Nicholas dropped a clear plastic bag out of his right hand, onto the ground. Officer Herny immediately walked over to the dropped bag and observed it be crack cocaine. Nicholas was placed under arrest for possession of 7.2 grams of crack cocaine and TOT PBCJ.

Victim stated unknown suspects smashed the passenger side window of his truck and took numerous tools valued at $400.00 between 2200 hours and 0800 hours.

Victim stated unknown suspects entered his unlocked vehicle on 01-06-16 between 1830-1930 hours removing a Samsung cell phone and a leather wallet.
