15-062626 1940 hours Disorderly/ Resisting Arrest/ Battery On a LEO x3 544 E Gateway Blvd.
B/M Jean P. Destine and B/M Timothy Cherry were arrested after attempting to fight with patrons entering the establishment creating a disturbance. Destine appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, continuously resisting arrests as they attempted to restrain him. While at BBPD he spat on two officers and a sergeant (SIR In Progress). Both Destine and Cherry were eventually transport to PBCJ. It should be noted Destine was aided in exiting the vehicle at County Jail and was crying hysterically stating “I just got out”!
15-062624 2014 hours Burglary to Residence (Force Entry) 1028 Fairfax Circle W.
Units responded to the above location in reference to an audible alarm. It was later discovered unknown suspects smashed the rear patio door; however, they departed the area upon hearing the alarm. The owner responded to the location and confirmed nothing within the residence was disturbed or missing. A nearby neighbor advised three unknown B/M/J’s were seen running from the area prior to officers’ arrival.
15-062464 Residential Burglary – Delayed 815 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
Officers met with victim, who reported that sometime between 12/26 at 2230 hours and 12/27/2015 at 2122 hours; an unknown person(s) entered the attached screened enclosure and stole his bicycle (described as black w/ gold lettering men’s 26 inch 10 speed) from therein.
15-062495 Shots Fired/Suspicious Incident 625 NE 15th Place
Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, after a canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities – the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident until such time additional information can be gleaned.
15-062360 0830 hours Attempted Burglary (Business) 3000 South Congress Ave/ Dunkin Donuts
Owner discovered several windows cracked, after review of surveillance cameras it was discovered an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into the business; however, was unsuccessful with this venture. After several attempts the unknown suspect signaled to an unknown vehicle later departing the area.
15-62375 1100 hours Fleeing and Eluding/ Obstruction 1400 NW 1st Ct
Officer Montoute-Howard attempted to conduct a traffic stop activating his lights and siren reference a traffic violation he observed. The driver/ defendant later identified as B/M Donnie Gary Heath Jr. (DOB 02.14.1994), refused to stop. A short pursuit occurred, resulting in Heath’s arrest. Heath was later transported to PBCJ.
15-062265 Grand Theft Auto – Arrest NW 9th Court
vOfficers met with victim, who reported that an unknown person(s) stole his Black/Yellow 2012 TaoTao scooter bearing FL 3785RZ – the last four of the VIN 2644; as it was parked at the aforesaid location.
UPDATE: Later during his tour of duty, Officer Paramore located B/M Michael Smith Jr. riding the above referenced stolen scooter (reference our case 15-062338). Officer Paramore criminally charged Smith and later transported him to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
15-062309 DUI/Fleeing – Arrest Hypoluxo Road/N. Congress Avenue
Officer Malley, in collaboration with Officer Melo made contact with W/F Michelle Brock, during a traffic investigation at the aforesaid location. After Brock verbally refused to conduct a series of field sobriety tasks; she was taken into custody under suspicion of being intoxicated. Brock also refused to provide a sampling of her breathe to determine her B.A.C. Officer Malley criminally charged Brock and later transported her to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
15-062325 Residential Burglary w/ Battery – Arres 1509 Belmont Place
Officer Medeiros arrested W/M Henry Mutka, after a thorough investigation revealed that Mutka went to his friends’ residence and opened the door and began to physically battery occupant/victim. The homeowner verbally revoked Mutka’s presence from the house; however, Mutka remained after authorization was revoked and continued to batter victim. Officer Medeiros criminally charged and later transported him to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
15-062337 Battery on LEO/Resisting Arrest/Simple Battery – Arrest 1810 New Palm Way
Officer Loshelder arrested W/M Joseph Britton, after a thorough investigation revealed that Britton punched his roommate. As officers were escorting Britton to their police vehicle; Britton began to pull away his upper body from officers’ control and by kicking Officer Alergia’s legs and causing scratches to Officer Esteves’ arm. Officers Esteves and Alegria suffered minor injuries – neither officer required medical attention. Officer Loshelder criminally charged Britton and later transported him to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
15-062346 Grand Theft Auto 3510 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
Officers met with victim, who reported that two or three unidentified B/M’s stole his unsecured Gold 2001 Infiniti bearing FL G597MU – the last four of the VIN 4031; as it was parked at the aforesaid location.
15-62182 0627hrs Burglary Auto 2800 NE 4th ST
Sometime between12/25/15 @ 2300hrs and 0627hrs today, unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle without permission by cutting a hole in the front passenger side door (through the metal), and gaining access to the locking device. Once inside, suspect removed multiple stereo equipment items.

Sometime between 0001hrs and 0700hrs today, unknown suspect broke the rear hatch window with a brick and entered victim’s vehicle, removing her purse without her permission.

Sometime between 12/23/15 @ 1800hrs and 12/24/15 @ 1500hrs, unknown suspect smashed out the victim’s front driver’s side vent window and removed several tools without victim’s permission.

Sometime between 12/25/15 @ 2200hrs and today at 0900hrs, unknown suspect entered the clubhouse via an unsecured door. Once inside the suspect pried open a closed but nothing appeared to be taken.
15-062126 Vehicle Burglary – Delayed 2873 SE 1st Place
Officers met with victim who reported that sometime earlier in the day; an unknown person(s) entered her unsecured rental vehicle (described as a Gray 2015 Ford Explorer) and stole several personal items (i.e. purse w/ contents/etc.) from therein. Victim refused to allow the officer to process the crime scene.

Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, they noticed 500+ people congregating in/blocking the roadways, loud music emitting from several vehicles, vehicles parked/blocking the roadway, and all-terrain vehicles driving on the roadways. A canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities for any gunshot victims gleaned negative results – the incident was reclassified to a general disturbance until such time additional information comes forward. Officers coordinated their efforts resulting in the majority of the individuals voluntarily leaving the area.

A 15 yoa juvenile was operating his mother’s Mercury SUV in the parking lot with 4 other juveniles and decided to perform “donuts”, overcompensating on a turn and causing a rollover. Three juveniles ran from the incident prior to arrival, however; the juvenile operator and one passenger remained on-scene. The juvenile driver sustained partial removal of several layers of skin from his elbow and was transported to BMH. The juvenile received several criminal traffic citations.

Silver 2005 GMC Sierra with FL tag # N380EP was reported stolen sometime between 0001 and 0848 hours this morning.
15-061771 0930 hours Burglary Business 4935 Park Ridge Blvd. (Sun-Sentinel)
Business stated that unknown subjects entered the business office by kicking in the door and prying the lock to a storage closet. Victim stated he was unable to determine if anything was missing. The video camera system was not functional. The victim believes the burglary took place within the last week.
15-061799 1209 hours Burglary Business 801 N. Congress Ave #681. (Popeyes Chicken)
The business manager stated that a black male subject entered the business by walking around the counter at 0805 hours, removed a key on the wall by the office, used it to open a cash register and remove money. A review of the video showed a black male with tattoos carrying a backpack covering his head. Manager stated the subject looked like a former employee who was terminated a month ago.
