5-059300 1507 hours GTA 2301 S. Congress Ave
Victim stated that after a long night of partying this morning between the hours of 0200 – 0500hrs, he parked his vehicle (blue, 2004, Nissan) in a parking lot somewhere in the 300 block of NE 2nd ST and passed out due to intoxication. When he woke up at 0500hrs, his vehicle and the key to it was missing. Vehicle entered into F/NCIC as stolen.
15-059304 1531hours GTA 1650 Stonehaven Dr.
Sometime around 1600hrs today, victim parked her vehicle (red 2007, Suzuki, Forenza) in the parking lot. When she returned for it at around 1650hrs, she was told that a friend of a friend by the name of Turk had taken her vehicle without her permission and refused to return it. Vehicle entered into F/NCIC as stolen.
The shift responded to numerous burglaries matching the MO of the burglaries that occurred in West Palm Beach the night before. The heavy rain prohibited the taking of latent prints from the exterior of the vehicles. The majority of the entries were made by breaking windows. The initial callers described two to three black males wearing hoodies and leaving in a white Ford Fusion.
