15-57777 18151hrs Accident with Injuries THI Call Out 300 N. Congress Ave
Officers responded to Congress Avenue in reference to a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. A Toyota Yaris was traveling northbound on North Congress Avenue in the right lane as a pedestrian was crossing the roadway (while not utilizing the provided crosswalk) traveling eastbound across North Congress Avenue. The pedestrian continued eastbound in front of traffic causing the front of the Toyota to strike the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to Delray Medical Center as a Trauma alert due to multiple injuries. The pedestrian remains at Delray Medical Center in stable condition.
15-057622 Poss. of Marijuana over 20 Grams 400 W. Boynton Beach Blvd
Officers Nasim Davis and K9 Brown, M. while conducting a traffic stop, arrested Derrick Joseph for being in possession of Marijuana over 20 grams. He was TOT PBCJ.
15-057628 Found Property (Destruction-Crack Cocaine)/Foot Patrols 1005 N. Seacrest Blvd/100 NW 10th Ave
Officers conducted several tours of foot patrol of this area which yielded the following results; A clear 1×1 baggies containing cocaine, $20.00 in cash, dice where also located on the ground (evidence of illegal gambling). Upon officers arrival, patrons dispersed the area. Officers made contact with several residents in the area of 100 NW 10th Ave who appreciated the officers efforts to rid them of the nuisances that have begun to plague the area by means of trespassing and drug transactions. Officer Medeiros even assisted individuals with proper trash pickup and recycling.

Officers met with victim who reported that sometime between 11/25/2015 between 2100 hours and 11/26/2015 at 1700 hours; an unknown person(s) entered her unsecured vehicle – described as a 2002 Honda mini-van bearing FL H794DW. Once entry was made, the unknown person(s) stole several personal items (i.e. various health related products) from therein.
15-057584 Residential Burglary – Delayed 2682 N. Federal Hwy
Officers met with victim who reported that sometime since November 18th at 1700 hours through today; an unknown person(s) entered her residence and stole several personal items (i.e. jewelry/etc.) from therein.
15-057614 Residential Burglary – Delayed Manor Forest Lane
Officers met with victim, who reported that sometime between November 25th and November 29th; an unknown person(s) entered his residence through a rear sliding glass door. Once inside the unknown person(s) stole several personal items (i.e. jewelry, electronics, etc.) from therein.
15-57549 1218 hours Burglary Fenced Compound SE 4th St.
Victim reported several storage containers at the fenced construction site were broken into sometime between 1600 hours last night and 1200 hours today and they are missing generators and other equipment. A full account of items missing cannot be completed until tomorrow.
15-57554 1258 hours Burglary Auto 821 Ocean Inlet Dr.
Victim reported unknown person entered the unsecured vehicle between 11/25 at 2100 an 11/26 at 1700 and removed several personal effects and a patient’s documents.
15057514 119 NW 10th Ave Found Property (Destruction)/ Crack Cocaine
While on foot patrol SGT De Los Rios located a plastic clear tube which contained 18.6 grams of Crack Cocaine laying in the parking lot. Placed into BBPD evidence for destruction.
15057515 909 NW 1st St Shots Fired
While on foot patrol in the 100 block of NW 10th Ave, officers heard and observed muzzle flash of shots being fired at the above location. Officers canvassed the area and no suspect was located. Officers did recover six(6) .45 caliber shell casings.
15057517 100 block of NW 10th Ave Abandoned Vehicle / Recovered Handgun
While on foot patrol, officers observed a 2009, VW Jetta, silver in color, FL tag#539PWM, that was a road hazard and not secure. In plain view, a loaded .357 magnum revolver was laying in the driver’s side floorboard. Owner of the vehicle was contacted and refused to advise officers of why vehicle was parked in the area. Vehicle towed and owner notified of tow company. Handgun placed into BBPD evidence.

Once entry was made, the unknown person(s) stole several personal items (i.e. garage door opener and miscellaneous change) from therein.

Once entry was made, the unknown person(s) stole several personal items (i.e. wallet w/ contents/etc.) from therein.
15-057346 General Disturbance/Block Party 1700 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Several officers responded to a loud music and block party. As officers arrived, they noticed approximately 500 people gathering in/around the aforesaid area. A coordinated operation was implemented to speak with the homeowner and clear the party patrons; which was completed without incident.
15-057347 Shots Fired/Suspicious Incident Hudson Lane
Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, after a canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities – the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident until such time additional information can be gleaned.
15-57137 1656hrs Fleeing and Eluding 1300 N. Seacrest Blvd
Officers were heavily patrolling the above area for numerous calls/complaints of ATVs and Dirt bikes traveling on the narrow roadways at a high rate of speed, causing a hazard to themselves and the public. B/M Andrews Jr., Mark 05/27/85) was operating a Blue in color Yamaha ATV at the intersection of NE 13th Ave and N. Seacrest Blvd. Officer Castro attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Andrews who failed to comply. After a brief pursuit Andrews stopped the ATV and was placed under arrest for Fleeing and Eluding and TOT PBCJ.
15-57188 0045hrs Shots Fired 1005 N. Seacrest Blvd
Witness advised that approx. an hour before he contacted the police he observed two unidentified B/M’s get into an argument at which point both B/M’s pulled out guns and began to shoot at each other. He advised the two B/M’s left the area and when they left he observed two bullet holes in his vehicle (2013 Dodge Charger) He advised that his vehicle was parked at the EZ Market parking lot where the altercation between the two unidentified B/M’s took place. Officers canvased the area and did locate 5 shell casings on the ground. He could not provide any further information on the two B/M’s. No calls to BBPD dispatch were made in reference to the altercation.
15-057078 0815hrs Burglary to Fenced Compound (Delayed) 1040 W. Industrial Ave (Aspen Storage)
Victim advised that sometime between the evening of 11/19/15 and 0815hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) stolen his 2008 Yamaha four stroke 60hp motor (valued at $9,000.00) from his boat. It should be noted that the chain that secures the exit gate to this compound had been cut, and we investigated a similar event on the previous shift (15-057002).

Contact was made with victim who advised that his 1988 21 Ft Vessel (FL 8948FR Vin: FGBY0239G788 ) was parked in the secure fenced compound of the business (Slip #68) on November 15, 2015 at approximately 1600 hours. Upon returning today at 1645 hours he observed the lower part of the motor (Yamaha 200hp 4 stroke) missing (approximately $3000). No suspect information at this time.

15-57009 1806hrs Possession of Heroin 2800 High Ridge Rd (Tri-Rail)
G4S security guard advised while conducting a ticket check on northbound train P634, the train conductor advised him about an individual locked inside the bathroom. Security opened the door and found a white male, later identified as Michael Jams Reddan, lying on the ground. Security advised he observed two bags with controlled substance residue along with 2 more small bags in a container. He proceeded to wake Reddan and observed a hypodermic needle on the floor. Reddan advised Officers that the narcotics were his, therefore Reddan was placed under arrest for possession of narcotics and TOT PBCJ.
15-57037 2022hrs THI Callout 2200 N. Congress Ave
A Motorcyclist was traveling north at the 2200 block of N. Congress Ave when a red Infiniti began to make a left turn traveling east to enter the parking lot of (2272 N. Congress Ave). As the Infiniti made the turn, the motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Infiniti which caused the motorcyclist to be thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was transported to Delray Medical with serious injury. Crime scene and THI were called out. Investigation still ongoing.
15-056911 0530 hours Burglary Residence 815 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
Victim stated that around 0530 hours she heard a noise inside her apartment and a short time later discovered the screen had been removed from her screen in patio. Items in containers on the patio had been opened and items removed, but nothing appeared missing. There were items discovered that were not the victims, and as officers canvassed the neighborhood they discovered other apparent burglaries. A witness stated she saw a W/M in his 20’s approx. with short cropped blond hair, facial hair, wearing black cargo shorts and a black t-shirt. Subject fled on foot when witness yelled at him. No other victims wished to prosecute.
15-056938 0930 hours Grand Theft Auto 1370 W. Industrial Ave #108 (Blue Stone Marble)
Victim stated that an unknown suspect stole his 2004 white Ford F-250 van bearing FL tag# 785PQQZ. The theft was captured by security cameras which showed newer model dark gray BMW enter the parking lot at approximately 0110 hours. It appeared there were at least 3 suspects involved in the theft.
