Victim advised unknown person entered one of his vehicle’s and stole the keys from the glovebox, then utilized the keys to steal his other vehicle, silver 2008 Mercedes C300 (GA tag # BPL9505). Incident occurred between 2100 hours last night and 0800 hours this morning.

Victim reported unknown person entered his vehicle sometime between 06/26 at 0600 hours and today at 0927 hours. A Taurus PT145 .45ACP handgun was stolen with its case along with his Concealed Weapons Permit. All items were taken from the glovebox.

15-28742 0909 hrs Burglary Business 3400 S. Congress Ave.
Unknown person broke the office glass door at 2200 hours on 06/26/15 and then left. At 0125 hours on 06/27/15, a black male was seen exiting a silver Mercury Grand Marquis and entered the office. A computer monitor and cash were stolen. The vehicle left the business without the male and was last seen driving northbound on Congress Ave.

15-028663 2026 hrs. Shots Fired/Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling 132 NE 12th Ave./130 NE 12th Ave.
Officers responded to 132 NE 12th Ave. to find that several shots were fired into an unoccupied Jeep. Officers also located structural damage sustained from a bullet that struck the exterior of an occupied residence of 130 NE 12th Ave. Several casing were located. No reported victims.

An Uber driver picked up an unknown B/M, described as wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans, from Lantana. When he dropped the suspect off at the above location, he grabbed a gold necklace from the driver’s neck. A track yielded negative results. The suspect is still at large.

15-028687 2318 hrs. Poss. Cocaine/Marijuana <20/Warrant/Giving a False Name/Poss. Ammo by a convicted Felon.
Officers Webster and Rivera conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. An investigation revealed that the passenger gave a false name, was in possession of cocaine/marijuana, and had an active warrant. The driver was found to be in possession of a .22 caliber bullet as he had a previous felony conviction.
