W/M was found lying on the ground holding his neck. He suffered a 5 inch laceration across his neck. It was determined that he while highly intoxicated attempted to climb over a six foot wall while holding a machete. He lost his balance and fell over the wall with his neck landing on the machete. He was transported to DMC and is expected to make a full recovery.

17-27124 2155 hours 100 NW 17th Ave/south exit of Ezel Hester Center Agg. Assault Firearm/ Armed Robbery
Victim (Domino’s Pizza delivery) was approached by 3 black males who requested change for a 100 bill. Black male wearing black pants and white shirt demanded he “turn over the money”. Feeling something was not right, he began to drive away when he heard 3 gun shots; one round striking the rear hatch of his Toyota Rav4. He last saw the suspects running north into the Ezel Hester parking lot. A perimeter was established, with assistance from DBPD K-9 and PBSO Eagle 1 a search of the area was completed with negative results.

Victim (17 year old female) stated that she was awakened by unknown black male in her bedroom touching her chest and groin area. The male was chased out of the house by the victim’s 16 year old sister. A perimeter was set up utilizing K9 with negative results. Investigation ongoing.

Victim reported that between 2000 hours last night and 1000 hours this date unknown person(s) entered her 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Sport bearing FL tag Y91RUR by unknown means (doors were found unlocked). The SUV was rummage through and $5 in change (coins) was taken from the center console.
17-026932 Shooting / Fleeing & Eluding 209 NW 9th Ct 1726hrs
Officers were dispatched to Sara Sims Park in response to a shooting. The caller told Dispatchers that a male shooting an assault rifle at another subject fled the area in a white SUV. Responding officers spotted a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle’s description exiting the neighborhood onto W. Boynton Beach Blvd. Officers got behind the vehicle as the vehicle entered I-95 northbound. The vehicle fled from officers who attempted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. The vehicle subsequently crashed as it exited Lantana Rd eastbound. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle ran from the vehicle carrying an assault rifle. After a short foot pursuit officers lost sight of the driver. A perimeter was established around the suspect’s last seen location. The suspect was later apprehended with the assistance of PBSO and Lantana PD. Two handguns (one of which was reported stolen) and various narcotics were recovered. The assault rifle was not recovered. The witness/caller responded to the scene of the crash and identified the vehicle as the one involved in the shooting. The witness identified the subject in custody as the driver but not the shooter. Evidence of a shooting (shell casing from an assault rifle) was discovered at the south entrance of Sara Sims park. In addition, The witness/caller told officers that a passenger carrying an assault rifle was shooting at a male running eastbound from the park towards EZ mart. The victim of the shooting never came forward. It was unknown if the victim was struck by a projectile. Area hospitals were notified.

Officers responded to a disturbance at 7-11. Officers met with the clerk who was actively engaged in an argument with Myron King. Following an inquiry into the incident, Officers discovered that Myron King threatened the clerk with a knife as King stole several items from the counter near the cash register. King was placed under arrest and was later turned over to the Palm Beach County Jail.
