17020419 1657 hours Stolen Vehicle (Recovery) 1100 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
Officers spotted a vehicle travelling west into oncoming traffic. The suspect vehicle crashed a short time later and the driver fled the scene. The vehicle was discovered to be stolen from our jurisdiction. A perimeter was established in the area of Leisureville and K-9 units were called out. The suspect was not located and the perimeter was cleared. The suspect was later seen by a witness crawling from underneath a house but could not be located.
17020491 0048 hours Grand Theft Auto 123 SW 2nd Ave
Victim reported that their 2010, BMW 328I, bronze in color, FL tag#HXEY06, was taken from the above address sometime between 2000 hours and 0045 hours. Keys were in the vehicle.
The B3/4 platoon responded to 2 non-fatal overdoses during the course of the shift.
17-020387 1358 hours Burglary Auto Occupied 618 NE 1st Street
Officers responded to the above address in reference to an occupied auto burglary. The victims stated that while sitting in her silver Nissan parked in the drive way of the above residence, two unknown black males opened the left rear passenger door and removed two of her purses and one purse belonging to her sister from the rear seat. The victim stated that the suspects grabbed the purses from the seat and fled the area on foot to the rear of the residence. The victim stated that she and her sister gave chase but was unable to catch- up with the suspects. The victim stated that the suspects jumped into a brown Honda and left the area. The victim stated that the suspect’s faces were partially covered.
17-20346 1033 hours Overdose/ Not Fatal 706 SW 1 Ct
Officers responded to 706 SW 1 Ct in reference to an overdose. On arrival W/M was found laying on the bathroom floor unconscious. BBFD was on scene and administered advanced life savings treatment to him. The man, who also overdosed last night, was transported back to Bethesda Hospital for follow-up treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
