16020748 1557 hours Burglary (Cat Type) Nickels Blvd
Officers responded to a report of an elderly female chasing after a male and screaming. Investigation revealed that the elderly victim was sitting inside her home, when an unknown b/m, late teens, white shirt, red shorts, and no shoes, entered through an unsecured door and grabbed her by the shoulder as she was reading on her couch. The suspect ran from within the residence when he was confronted and was last seen fleeing south. The victim was unharmed and several witnesses within the community corroborated the events. A perimeter was established; however, the suspect was not located. The investigation is ongoing.
16020773 1754 hours Burglary (Residence) NW 4th Ave
Victim reported that sometime between 0830 hours and 1754 hours unknown person(s) entered by smashing out a rear bedroom window. The suspects removed several electronic items (TV’s, laptops, etc.) and multiple firearms from a gun safe. The victim reported the following firearms missing: an AK 47 rifle, AR 15 rifle, Sig Sauer 45 cal., Glock 40 cal., UTAS tactical shotgun, and multiple rounds of assorted ammunition. The victim could not provide any serial numbers for any of the firearms. Total loss estimated at $5,000.
16020798 2141 hours Accident (Fatality) 200 W Woolbright
Officers responded in reference to a collision, motorcycle vs a vehicle. Upon arrival the motorcyclist was deceased at the scene and the occupants of the vehicle had fled the scene on foot. Crime Scene was established along with a perimeter. Delray K9, PBSO K9, and PBSO Eagle responded and assisted with the search for the occupants of the car which were not located. THI, CSI, and ME responded for the traffic fatality.

Broken window to vehicle. Small can of pepper spray was stolen. Occurred sometime between 04/10 at 0700 hours and 0630 hours this morning.

Broken window to vehicle. Interior of vehicle was ransacked, but unknown if anything is missing. Unknown timeframe for occurrence.

16-20682 0939 hrs Suspicious Incident 1610 S. Congress Ave.
Officers responded to Marathon Gas Station to locate a suspect whom attempted to steal a purse from the interior of a white SUV. An elderly female was seated in the vehicle and began yelling for help. A witness assisted by grabbing the suspect and pushing him against the vehicle. The elderly female then drove away. The suspect escaped from the witness’s grasp and was last seen running towards SW 19th Ave. Both the alleged suspect and alleged victim were not located. No video recording of the incident.
