18-022024 1855 hours Failed to Stop 300 SW 8th Ct
Officer Daley was on patrol in the aforementioned area when he noticed a Red VW Jetta bearing FL. Tag AIPZ85. Officer Daley knew this vehicle to be stolen out of Coral Springs due to the fact it has fled from officers in the past. Daley attempted another stop on the vehicle; however, it failed to yield and entered I-95 Southbound. The stop was terminated due to the vehicle’s reckless driving pattern.
18-022042 2102 hours Fleeing and Eluding/Arrest 300 NW 10th Ave.
Officer Rivera was on patrol in the aforementioned area when she witnessed a White 2009 Pontiac G6 bearing FL. Tag Y96KNF fail to yield at a posted stop sign. When she initially attempted to stop the vehicle, it failed to yield. When additional back up units arrived, the vehicle finally came to a stop at 600 NW 4th St. The lone occupant b/m Spencer Brooks was placed under arrest for Fleeing and Eluding and DWLS. Search incident to tow located several pills of Hydrocodone and a 1×1 baggie of powdered cocaine. He was subsequently charged accordingly and tot PBCJ.
18-021838 Overdose Non-Fatal 3661 Quantum Blvd #202 15:07 hours
Victim was located in the master bedroom conscious and alert. CPR had been administered by a friend. BBFD transported the victim to Bethesda Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Victim expected to make full recovery.
18-021663 Burglary to Residence 1851 Renaissance Commons Blvd 1631 hours
Officers responded to the a delayed burglary at the above address. The victim told officers that his residence was burglarized while he was out of town. The victim suspected that a friend left his door unlocked after the friend checked on his residence while he was away. There was no signs of forced entry and the victim reported various items stolen total valued at $1,170.
Officers responded to 1 non-fatal overdose during their shifts.
18-021577 Auto Burglary 203 SE 26th Ave 0550 hours
Victim reports between 2245 hours on 4/19/2018 and 0530 hours this date unknown suspect entered his 2013 Nissan Frontier which was likely unlocked and stole his black and gold color bass guitar from the rear seats.
18-021589 Trailer Burglary 224 NE 11th Ave 0741 hours
Victim reports between 1600 hours on 4/19/2018 and 0730 hours this date unknown suspect entered a 4×8 trailer by prying the rear handle. Several power tools were stolen from within.
18-021598 Auto Burglary 2161 W Woolbright #M203 0925 hours
Victim reported between 1930 hours on 4/19/2018 and 0925 hours this date unknown suspect entered his 2018 Cadillac Escalade by smashing his rear passenger door window. Nothing of value was taken.
18-021606 Auto Burglary 1392 SW 17th Ave 1025 hours
Victim reported between 2330 hours on 4/12/2018 and 0430 hours on 4/13/2018 unknown suspect entered his Dodge Caravan which was likely unlocked and stole a wallet from within the center console.
18-021503 Burglary to Auto 1401 N. Congress Ave 1911 hours
Officers responded to the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings in reference to a burglary in progress. Officers met with the victim who told officers that she saw an unknown black male inside of her vehicle. The victim said she confronted the male as the male was rummaging through the contents of her vehicle. The male ran southbound prior to the victim calling police. Officers searched the area for the suspect with negative results. Officers processed the vehicle and recovered a partial latent print from the front passenger side door. The window from the front passenger door was broken and a wallet was stolen from the vehicle. The suspect dropped the wallet as he ran and the victim recovered the wallet from the parking lot.
