18-022539 Stolen Auto Quantum High School (1275 W. Gateway Blvd.) 1610 hours
The victim advised that she parked her vehicle, a white Honda Pilot FL-tag EQSA03, in front of the school at 0700hrs and went inside for work. At approximately 1610hrs, she noticed that her vehicle’s keys were missing from her purse, which is kept in an unlocked desk drawer in her office. When she checked the parking lot, she was unable to locate the vehicle. She believes a student entered her office and removed the keys from her purse. Vehicle entered into NCIC/FCIC. Investigation ongoing.
18-022574 Burglary (Cat Type) 316 Scarborough Lane 1947 hours
The victim advised that an unknown suspect entered her residence sometime between 0640 and 1600 removing her Asus laptop computer (value $700). The suspect committed said burglary while her husband was asleep in the residence.
18-022590 Possession of Marijuana under 20g 1950 S. Federal Hwy 2058 hours
Officer Castro arrested b/m Leon Williams after he was found to be in possession of 2.0 grams of marijuana. Williams was released from the scene with an NTA.
18-022615 Loitering and Prowling Arrest 815 W. Boynton Beach Blvd (Casablanca) 2246 hours
Officers responded to the above address in reference to information from a witness that a black male was burglarizing a neighbor’s vehicle, a silver Kia FL-tag Z42GUA. Officers made contact with b/m Max Pierre in the parking lot in front of building 14. The witness positively identified Pierre as the person burglarizing neighbor’s vehicle. Officers attempted to make contact with the vehicle owner however met with negative results. Officer Alegria took Pierre into custody charging him with L&P. Additional charges to follow pending contact with the vehicle owner.
18-022625 Failed to Stop 300 NW 4th St. 0043 hours
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Chrysler 300 FL-tag CTEL43. The vehicle failed to yield and fled south on NW 4th St toward Boynton Beach Blvd. The vehicle entered I-95 southbound accelerating away from Officer Rivera. She discontinued her efforts as the vehicle continued southbound. A records check revealed the vehicle to be a Hertz rental.
18-22446 Burglary Auto 301 SE 12th Ave 0607 hours
Victim reports between 2200 on 04-24 and 0500 04-25 someone broke into his 2017 Chevy Silverado P/U removing $1,600 in cash from behind the visor.
18-22454 Burglary Auto 2208 Aspen Way 0708 hours
Victim reports between 1645 on 04-24 and 0708 on 04-25 unknown suspect broke into his 2013 Honda CRV and removed his wallet, $17, and his Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380 pistol. Firearm was entered into FCIC/NCIC.
18-22485 Shots Fired NE 14th Ave/NE 1st Ct. 1041 hours
Units responded to the area in reference to shots fired. No evidence of shots being fired was located. Local hospitals were checked for victims.
