Officers responded to a single vehicle crash at the above location. The victim was transported to Delray Trauma by BBFD with a traumatic head injury. He died early this morning as a result of his injuries.
18-045621 Failed to Stop N Federal Hwy & NE 15th Ave 0032 hours
Officer attempted a traffic stop on a white four door Hyundai, possibly an AZ tag. Vehicle refused to stop and continued northbound on Federal Hwy. Officer terminated their attempts at stopping the vehicle.
18-045634 Susp. Inc.- Shots Fired 2600 NE 1st Ln 0227 hours
Officers were dispatched to the report of shots fired at the above location. An anonymous caller alleged to have heard 3-5 shots in the area. Officers checked the area for victims and physical evidence of a shooting with negative results. Local hospital were notified.

Sometime between 2115hrs on 09/02 and today at 1000hrs, unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked 1997 gold Toyota Camry, located the keys in the center console and took the vehicle without his permission.

Sometime between 1830hrs on 09/02 and today at 1030hrs, unknown suspect removed the victim’s 2011 red Infinity G37 from the parking garage without his permission. Victim is in possession of the keys.
18-045448 L&P / Poss. Of Burglary Tools 35 Walcott Drive 0025 hours
Officers responded to the Boynton Lakes community following the report of suspicious persons walking through the neighborhood. The caller told dispatchers that three males wearing dark hoodies were seen ducking between cars in a nearby park. Responding officers set up a perimeter around the neighborhood and spotted the subjects on Walcott Drive walking with their head/face covered. The officers later made contact with the subjects and found one to be in possession of a screw driver, numerous gloves, and black socks. It was discovered that the subjects did not live in the area, nor did they know anyone who lives in the area. Officers learned that the subjects arrived in a vehicle which was parked a block away prior to walking through the neighborhood. The officers initiated a Loitering and Prowling investigation that resulted in the arrest of b/m Jeffrey Auguste 03/30/00, b/m Keonne Bradley 07/20/00, and b/m juvenile J.D. The defendants were processed at BBPD and turned over to PBCJ and JAC respectively.

CRT officers were on patrol when they observed a group of individuals loitering in a closed City Park. The officers approached and attempted to make contact with the subjects. The subjects took flight upon view of the officers. Two of the subjects were apprehended after a short foot pursuit. CRT officers also recovered 2 loaded handguns (a dark green Kel Tec 9mm pistol s/n RXM30 and a black 9mm Glock 26 s/n ENH628US) that were discarded by the fleeing subjects. The two apprehended subjects were charged and sent to PBCJ. Additional charges related to the handguns are forthcoming.

Unknown person entered the residence by removing a window A/C unit sometime between 2230 hours last night and 1000 hours this morning. Once inside, they stole money from a jar and a small safe.

Unknown person stole a loaded Springfield Armory XDS .45 firearm and other items from within victim’s vehicle between 08/24 and 08/25. Firearm entered NCIC/FCIC.

Unknown person entered the residence sometime after 0800 hours according to a neighboring complainant. A garage side entry door was ajar and a bathroom window was found opened. The window screen was on the ground and some items on the window sill were found outside. There is extensive evidence of the residence being rummaged through. Owners are unable to document anything missing at this time, since they were unavailable.

Officers responded to an unresponsive female in a vehicle at the above location. Upon arrival with the vehicle the driver drove away and struck a concrete obstacle. Investigation revealed probable cause for a DUI arrest and Kristen Clippinger was processed at the Main Jail. She was medically cleared due to the crash.

2007 Volvo semi, GA tag C2714B, was detached from the trailer and stolen from the parking lot, trailer left behind.
18-045003 Stolen Tag/Decal 4927 Park Ridge Blvd 1345 hours
Officers responded to the above address to investigate the theft of a motorcycle tag/decal. Officers met with the victim who said that an unknown person wiped dog feces on his red Honda motorcycle and the same person probably stole the motorcycle’s tag (FL tag MENA03). Officers canvassed the area and found surveillance cameras in the vicinity of the incident. Officers will review the footage once contact is made with the owner of the cameras.

Officers responded to the parking lot of the Home Depot in reference to a burglary to a vehicle. Officers investigate the allegation and discovered that a suspect attempted to gain entry into the caller’s black Honda SUV. There was visible damage to the driver door’s key hole. The vehicle was still locked and the caller confirmed that the suspect was not successful in their attempt to enter the vehicle.
