16-000301 2022hrs Burglary to Residence in Progress SW 18th Dr Units responded to SW 18th Dr. in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, units were advised by residents of SW 18th Dr. Someone had broken the window to their neighbor’s home. Upon checking, units observed the bedroom window on the front right side of the residence smashed and it appeared the inner screen had been pried. It was advised by the neighbors that the owner is in an assisted living facility and no one should be there. Units cleared the residence and no suspects were found to be inside. The neighbors also advised that they heard a vehicle speed away from the area.
16-000537 0021hrs Suspicious Incident (Shots Fired) Spruce St/High Ridge Rd.
Dispatch received several calls from residents inside Cedar Ridge that they heard approx. 20-30 gun shots coming from somewhere possibly west of High Ridge. Units canvased the area for any type of evidence, and after canvasing they were able to locate 44 spent .223 casings on Little Sound Dr which is approx. 1000 ft. west of High Ridge Rd. Based off the location of the spent shell casings it appeared that the rounds were fired into a canal. No Victims. No Suspects. The shell casings were collected and placed into evidence.

Victim stated that sometime between 12-31-2015 at approximately 1800hrs and 0615hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger side window of her secured 2015 Ford Fusion (FL #CTD5P) and made entry. The vehicle’s interior was ransacked, and the victim advised nothing was taken.

Victim stated that sometime between 01-01-2016 at approximately 1830hrs and 0620hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger side window of her secured 2012 Nissan Murano (FL #T309XA) and made entry. The vehicle’s interior was ransacked, and the victim advised nothing was taken.
16-000184 0625hrs Burglary to Auto (In Progress) 217 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Witnesses stated an unknown B/M was on scene smashing the rear passenger side window of a 2008 Toyota (FL #DRG3Z). Units arrived and found B/M Jerome Fricost hiding in backseat of the vehicle, and detained him. Once contact was made with vehicle’s owner, and she advised Fricost did not have permission to enter the vehicle he was placed under arrest and TOT’d to PBCJ.
16-000205 0950hrs Burglary to Structure (Delayed) 405 SW 3rd St.
Victim stated that sometime between 2030hrs on 12-17-2015 and 0950hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) stole her Powerhouse pressure cleaner (ser#06147144) and her Troy-built (unknown serial) lawnmower from her locked tool shed. The pressure cleaner was entered into NCIC/FCIC.
16-000203 0957hrs Burglary to Auto (Delayed 1540 SW 8th St.
Victim stated that sometime between 1830hrs on 01-01-2016 and 0900hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) smashed the passenger side window of his 2015 Dodge Durango (NJ #W46FJF) and made entry. The vehicle’s interior was ransacked, but the victim advised he doesn’t believe anything was taken.
16-000194 0920hrs Burglary to Auto (Delayed) 1475 W. Gateway Blvd.
Victim stated that sometime between approximately 2130hrs on 01-01-2016 and 0920hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger side window of her secured 2012 Hyundai Veloster (OH #ENZ0728) and made entry. The vehicle’s interior was ransacked, and an Apple Ipad mini stolen (unknown ser#).

Victim stated that sometime between 2000hrs on 01-01-2016 and 0940hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger side window of his secured 2010 Nissan Titan (GA #BLU6821) and made entry. The vehicle’s interior was ransacked, and the victim advised nothing was taken.
16-119 1834hrs Burglary to Residence N. Federal Hwy
Officers met with John Gambino who has verbal agreement with the homeowner to house sit, while she’s recovering at Bethesda Hospital. Gambino stated between 1700 hours on 12/30/15 and 1800 hours on 1/1/16 someone entered the home and took two flat screen TVs. It should be noted the A/C window unit was pulled from the window and appeared to be the point of entry.

Victim stated that sometime between 12-31-2015 at approximately 2000hrs and 0622hrs today unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole property from within.
16-000040 0823hrs Residential Burglary (Delayed) E. Atlantic Dr.
Victim stated that sometime between 1800hrs on 12-31-2015 and 0800hrs today unknown suspect(s) broke several windows and a glass door to the residence, the suspect(s) entered the residence and vandalized the interior.
16-000045 0914hrs Shooting into Unoccupied Vehicle 504 NW 7th St.
Victim stated that sometime between 2030hrs on 12-31-2015 and 0900hrs today his rear window of his 2001 Ford was shattered. Closer inspection revealed a hole in the rear window and an unknown caliber bullet was located in the rear middle seat.
15063158 1716 hours Strongarm Robbery NE 3rd St
Victim was walking home when an unknown black male, described as 5’10, 150lbs, wearing a black Nautica T-shirt, ran up from behind, snatched her purse from her arm, and then attempted to flee. Witness observed the crime and was able to follow the suspect in his vehicle and cut off his escape, using his vehicle. Upon exiting the vehicle and making contact with the suspect, who began making threats, witness brandished his concealed firearm in which the suspect decided to drop the purse, cease his threats towards witness and was last seen running west bound. A perimeter was established and a K9 track was conducted. Due to the track leading into a very large crowd of citizens it was discontinued. All of the property was returned to Thomas.
15063178 1847 hours Poss. Of Heroin/Contraband/Trespass After Warning 1615 N Seacrest Blvd
OFC Esteves and OFC Alegria were dispatched to the above location in reference to a male taking off his pants and crawling on the sidewalk. Upon arrival contact was made with w/m Kevin Bronson dob 03/25/1958 who was attempting to conceal himself under a parked van in the driveway. Homeowner advised that Bronson was not to be on the property. Bronson refused to leave upon request and was subsequently arrested. Search incident to arrest yielded a “loaded” needle which tested positive for Heroin. He was processed and later lodged at PBCJ.
15063197 2030 hours Strongarm Robbery Mainstreet Car Wash / 201 E Boynton Beach Blvd
Victim advised he was walking in the above listed parking lot when five (5) unknown and indescribable black males attacked him. During the attack, one of the assailants removed $500.00 from hi’s wallet and all of the males were last seen running north. A search of the area yielded no suspects. Victim did have injuries to his face in which he refused medical treatment. He was later transported to his residence.
15-63124 1429 hrs Fleeing & Eluding 400 E. MLK
Officer Rivera located a reported stolen vehicle (white 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque with FL tag # ECSI47) driving in the area at a high rate of speed. Officer Rivera activated his emergency lights to signal a stop however; the vehicle refused to stop. Officer Rivera deactivated his emergency lights at the 1400 block of N. Seacrest Blvd. ending his attempt to stop it. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Gateway Blvd., possibly spotted entering Renaissance Commons, but a search of the area was with negative results.
