15-058307 Vehicle Burglary – Delayed Tuscany Way
Officers met with W/F Mia Salvo, who reported that sometime between December 2nd at 1945 hours and December 3rd at 0645 hours; an unknown person(s) entered her Blue 1989 Mercedes Benz bearing FL Y10ASA. After making entry inside the vehicle the unknown person(s) stole her wallet w/ contents from therein.
15-058310 Accidental Shooting/Injury Renaissance Commons Blvd.
Officers responded to the aforesaid address in reference to a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound. As officers arrived; the resident advised that whilst cleaning his Glock 9mm firearm, he accidentally shot himself in the groin area. After Boynton Beach Fire Rescue (BBFR) declared him a trauma alert (i.e. close proximity of the femoral artery and significant loss of blood); Detective Bureau and Crime Scene were notified to investigate and document the incident. Patrol Officers assisted with crime scene preservation.
15-058333 Vehicle Burglary – Delayed 2008 S. Federal Hwy
Officers met with victim, who reported that sometime between December 2nd at 1500 hours and December 3rd at 2000 hours; an unknown person(s) entered her 2009 Honda Accord bearing FL 520RTT. After making entry inside the vehicle the unknown person(s) stole her wallet w/ contents from therein.
15-58226 0827 hrs Fleeing & Eluding 1300 W. Gateway Blvd.
Sgt. Hawkins observed a blue 2009 Nissan Versa with FL tag # R7CGV driving recklessly in the area as indicated by several traffic violations he witnessed. After activating his emergency equipment to attempt to stop the vehicle and providing vehicle information to dispatch, it was learned the vehicle was stolen. It was apparent the vehicle was not going to stop after it made several evasive U-turns. Sgt. Hawkins discontinued the pursuit by deactivating his emergency equipment and the vehicle was last seen headed eastbound on Gateway Blvd. passing the I-95 overpass.

Victim reported unknown person entered his unsecured vehicle between 12/2 0200 hours and this morning, removing a wallet containing U.S. currency.

Victim reported unknown person entered the vehicle (No forced entry) between 12/2 1800 hours and this morning, removing 60 music CD’s.
15-58251 1054 hrs Burglary Auto 2016 S. Federal Hwy.
Victim reported unknown person entered the vehicle (No forced entry) between 12/2 1800 and this morning at 0930, removing an unknown brand/model cell phone.
15-58254 1055 hrs Burglary Auto Tuscany Way.
Victim reported unknown person entered his unsecured vehicle between 12/2 1900 and this morning at 1000, rummaging through the interior contents. Nothing missing.
15-58273 1304 hrs Narcotic Arrest 301 N. Congress Ave. (Shell Gas)
Officer Thomas and Officer Rini investigated a suspicious person at the business. Investigation revealed W/M, Cortland Crandall, 06/15/89 was under the influence of a narcotic and had in his possession .7 grams Heroin, .4 grams Cocaine, 5 Xanax pills, and a syringe. Crandall was arrested and transported to Bethesda Memorial for medical clearance. Upon clearance, he was TOT PBCJ.
