18-063283 Stolen Auto – Delayed 206 NE 14th Ave 1623 hours
Officers were dispatched to the above address in regards to a stolen vehicle. The caller/victim told officers he let an associate borrow his vehicle a week ago (1996 Ford Pick-up FL tag JRW-M27). The associate, only known to the victim as “Angel”, was supposed to go run an errand and return the vehicle the same day. The caller said Angel never returned the vehicle. The victim said he’s been trying to find Angel for a week to no avail.
18-063343 Burglary To Auto x2 550 N. Congress Ave 2129 hours
Officers responded to an auto burglary in the parking lot of Best Buy. The victim said unknown person(s) stole $2,400 worth of items from his vehicle. The victim saw a white Ford F250 (no tag) leaving the area of his vehicle at a high rate of speed during the incident. The same vehicle was spotted leaving the scene of another auto burglary at Cinemark. The white F250 is suspected to be a stolen 2018 Ford F250 with no tag that was recently reported out of Delray Beach PD. The description of the suspect’s vehicle occupants was not available.
CRT officers were assisted by B3/4 officers in shutting down Z-Mart 1005 N. Seacrest which operating without a business license. The officers observed an employee operating a cash register and several individuals loitering in and around the business. The employee was arrested and issued an NTA. Z-Mart shall remain closed until further notice.
18-63208 Auto Burglary 77 Cedar Circle 0700 hours
Overnight to a 2017 gray Honda Civic by smashing the front passenger window. Nothing appeared to be missing.
18-63223 Auto Burglary 28 Meadows Park Lane 0821 hours
Overnight to a 2013 gray Nissan Altima by entering victim’s unlocked vehicle. Taken was a laptop and a black Glock 43 handgun.
