17-071277 1725 hours Burglary (Fenced Compound) 628 W Industrial Avenue
Victim/Owner of Be Green Landscaping reported that he came to the business to pick up a pressure washer from one of the trailers but noticed the locked had been cut off and the washer missing. Surveillance video shows that at 0100 hours a black vehicle (possibly) a Jeep parked in front of the business. A male is seen jumping the barbed wire fence. At 0120 hours the vehicle leaves the area. The actual theft is not captured on video. Taken from the trailer was Stihl gas-powered vacuum ($300) and a Ryobi 3000PSI pressure washer ($300).
17-071387 0012 hours Overdose (Non-Fatal) 715 Mission Hill Road
45 year old male was found unresponsive. FD responded and subsequently transported patient to Bethesda Hospital.
17-71201 1028 hours Stolen Rental Vehicle 1005 W. Gateway Blvd.
Rental vehicle was borrowed by an acquaintance and is now missing. Gray Kia Soul with FL tag #HJC0746.
17-71264 1533 hours Overdose (non-fatal) 2821 S. Federal Hwy. C-103
Female patient decided she needed to get high prior to traveling to California and overdosed on one cap of Heroin. Naloxone Injector was utilized by responding officer and she was transported to BMH by fire rescue and will recover.
17-071058 1656 hours Traffic Crash (THI) 3100 S Federal Hwy
Officers responded to an SUV versus scooter traffic crash. The female driver and male passenger were both ejected from the scooter, declared trauma alerts by FD. THI and Crime Scene responded. They were both taken to Delray Trauma Center.

17-071025 1416hrs Robbery by Sudden Snatching 1490 W. Gateway Blvd.
Victim advised that he met with the suspect regarding the sale of his I Phone. Suspect subsequently snatched the I Phone and fled. Officers were able to cultivate a suspect and charges are pending.
17-070776 1732 hours Burglary (Auto) 365 N Congress Avenue
Victim reported that between 1720 and 1730 hours unknown person(s) entered silver 2011 Honda Odyssey bearing FL tag IZYR30 by smashing the passenger window while she was parked at the Carolina Ale House. Taken from the minivan was her purse ($100) which contained $250 in miscellaneous gift cards and her Fossil watch ($100).
17-070841 2045 hours Possession of Contraband 302 W Boynton Beach Blvd
NIU conducted a traffic stop on vehicle in the Marathon gas station for an expired tag. Upon making contact with the driver they detected the odor of marijuana. The driver was detained and inside the car was 12.5 grams of cocaine, 5.7 grams of marijuana, an SCCY 9mm handgun, and $931 cash. The driver, B/M James C Dorema DOB 10/01/90 was subsequently charged and sent to county jail.
17-070930 0226 hours Possession of Contraband 500 W Gateway Blvd
W/F Jasmine Rivera DOB 06-10-99 was arrested for possession of marijuana <20 grams following a traffic stop. She was released via NTA.
17-070934 0245 hours Possession of Contraband 850 W Gateway Blvd
W/F Lilliana Torres DOB 10/03/94 was arrested for possession of marijuana <20 grams following a traffic stop. She was released via NTA.
17-070939 0339 hours Aggravated Flee & Eluding 2200 N Seacrest Blvd
Officer Montoute and Officer Ramos attempted to stop a black Jaguar for a traffic infraction. The driver, B/M Roderick Shelton DOB 06/06/77 refused to stop. As officers terminated their intent to stop the car they heard two “pops” which sounded like gunfire. Officer Ramos advised that he windshield had been struck by a projectile. The officers re-engaged Shelton who refused to stop until he reached the 1500 block of N Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach. With assistance from West Palm PD, Shelton was taken into custody without incident. Along the pursuit Shelton was discarding numerous items. At the time of his arrest, a firearm was not located.
17-70671 Bomb Threat 3625 S. Federal Hwy. (Walmart) 0840hrs
Officers responded to the above address in reference to a Bomb Threat. An unknown subject called the store’s main phone line and advised there was a bomb in the building. Walmart’s management ordered an immediate evacuation of the building and parking lot. Officers secured the perimeter at a safe distance, and BBFR staged close by. Palm Beach Gardens and BSO provided assistance by allowing their bomb detecting K-9’s to respond and clear the store’s interior. It should be noted that no device was found.
17-70653 Extra Patrol 1500-2600 block North ICW 0600hrs
The Marine Unit conducted an extra patrol in reference to anchored vessels located west of the marked channel. While on the extra patrol 6 anchored sailboats were located, and 3 of them had white anchor lights illuminated. The other 3 sailboats were in violation and were issued uniform Boating Citations via clerk of court due to them being unoccupied.
