16068846 2033 hours Failure to Yield / Eluding 1005 N Seacrest
Officers responded in reference to a report of a silver Chevy truck having just been stolen from EZ mart. OFC Williams observed a vehicle matching the description in the 500 block of W Boynton Beach Blvd. He was able to maneuver behind the automobile and obtain the registration, FL tag# 7510IP, which was already reported stolen out of PBSO. Upon initiating a traffic stop, the vehicle fled and was last observed traveling south on I-95 at a high rate of speed.

OFC Malley observed a black Chevy SUV, no registration tag, operating recklessly and at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated; however, the vehicle fled and was last observed traveling south on I-95 at a high rate of speed.
Multiple intersections had malfunctioning traffic lights throughout the shift due to the inclement weather.

Officers responded to the report of a w/m down on the street. A w/m was located at the above address and appeared to have overdosed. BBFD responded, treated and transported the w/m to BMH.

Officer Crowder located a stolen (lojack) vehicle 2016 Toyota Highlander FL HLMN84. The driver failed to yield and was last seen entering I95 NB.

Victim was found on the patio, unresponsive due to a heroin overdose. The victim was treated by BBFR and then transported to Bethesda where he is expected to make a full recovery.

16-068699 2343 hours 1051 SW 25th Ave. Burglary, BatteryX2
W/F called from the bedroom closet requesting police, whispering that unknown males punched her in the face, which knocked her to the ground. Both suspects were screaming at her, telling her to “give it up”. W/M (owner) told to the suspects, “leave her out of it”. He also suffered multiple facial and head injuries, which he refused medical treatment. He refused all police assistance, signing a refusal form. There were no witnesses found.

BBFD and BBPD responded to the report of a traumatic amputation at 2022 SW Golf Ln. Multiple units responded it was determined to be a false call perpetrated by the same subject who had previously made 7 other false calls. Communications provided good background information that led to officers locating the suspect. DB responded and the b/m/j was subsequently arrested. Exemplary job by all involved.
16068490 2034 hours Overdose (Non-fatal) 1331 S Federal Hwy 207
Officers arrived and found w/f unconscious and barely breathing from a heroin overdose. Officers administered Narcan and revived her until the arrival of EMS. She was later transported to Bethesda.

Officers and EMS arrived and found w/m unconscious and barely breathing from a heroin overdose. Narcan was administered and revived him. He was later transported to JFK.
16068520 0226 hours Cat Burglary / Home Invasion Jonathan’s Way
Officers responded in reference to a delayed burglary. Investigation at the scene yielded that the victim returned home and encountered two unknown Hispanic males in her kitchen. One brandished a handgun and told her to be quiet and that they were leaving. They were last seen driving away in light green compact vehicle. Two roommates were upstairs sleeping and were unaware of the suspect’s presence inside the home. Investigation is progress as of this writing. Detective Bureau notified. CSI responded.
16-68372 AOD FD 1530 W BB Blvd 0942hrs
Officers responded to the report of a suspicious incident at USPS. A letter carrier reported medical distress after coming in contact with an unknown white powder. The Post Office was evacuated and BBFD, BRFD & DBFD special operations responded. PD units maintained a perimeter while FD resolved the incident. The power was tested and determined to be common table salt.
