19-009807 Burglary Other W. Ocean Dr. 1718 hours
Victim advised she left her purse on the desk in her room (209) at 1015 hours and when she returned at 1500 hours, unknown individuals removed several items to include her DL, American Express Card and $90. No forced entry.
19-9725 Trespass Arrest 1601 S Federal Hwy 0851 hours
B/M Horace, Jimmy 03-07-95 was arrested after being observed at the above location after receiving a trespass warning in December of 2018. Released with an NTA.
19-9738 Auto Burglary 1118 Lake Ter 1015 hour
Sometime between 02-19 and 02-20 entered the victim’s vehicle (likely unlocked) and rummaged through her glove box. Nothing appeared to be missing. Victim refused to have her vehicle processed for finger prints.
19-9749 Susp. Vehicle 504 NW 12th Ave 1108 hour
Multiple units responded to the above location in reference to a B/M sleeping inside of an orange Mitsubishi Eclipse with a gun sitting on his lap. Upon arriva,l officers located B/M Harris, Jamarr R 01-05-1986 sitting in the driver’s seat sound asleep with the car running. Officers observed that Harris was holding what appeared to be a small black handgun in his right hand with the finger on the trigger. Officers made a tactical approach and opened the driver’s door of the vehicle. As Harris began to wake up, the gun was secured and Harris was detained. It turned out the gun was a BB gun that looked exactly like a real handgun. Harris was educated on the dangers of what could have happened today and released from the scene. It should be noted the BB gun had “Walther PPK” inscribed on the slide.
