16-010560 2050hrs Burglary to Structure 240 SW 9th Ave
Contact was made with victim who advised sometime between 1800hrs and 2050hrs, an unknown subject(s) entered her secured backyard (fenced) to her residence and removed 2 mounted deer heads from a shed (let it be noted that there are two sheds in the backyard, both rummaged through). The victim advised that she is unsure if the sheds were unlocked prior to the incident. Nothing else appeared to be taken and/or tampered with from either shed. Total estimate value of the items taken was $1,000. No signs of forced entry.
16-0010573 2152hrs Fleeing and Eluding 1400 N Seacrest Blvd
Officer Herny and Officer J. Rivera were traveling southbound at about the 1700 block of N Seacrest Blvd when they observed a white 2012 Honda Accord bearing FL DGJL55 with heavy tinted windows. Upon reaching the 1400 block of N Seacrest Blvd, Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle increased speeds and failed to stop. The vehicle continued southbound on N Seacrest Blvd at a high rate of speed and it was heading towards W Boynton Beach Blvd. Officer Rivera and Herny disengaged from the pursuit and observed the vehicle reach W Boynton Beach Blvd and travel westbound on W Boynton Beach Blvd. The suspect vehicle was last seen entering Interstate 95 northbound. A local BOLO was put out for the suspect vehicle.
16-0010576 2208hrs R/A without Violence/Hit and Run 133 NW 10th Ave
Officer J. Rivera and Officer Herny were on patrol in the 1000 block of North Seacrest Boulevard, when they observed a 2016 Kia Optima (FL CTEA69) traveling west bound on NW 10th Avenue passing North Seacrest Boulevard. The Kia had dark tint and the occupants were not visible. Due to the traffic infraction, They attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle and when they did the Kia pulled into the parking lot of 133 NW 10th Avenue and the driver, later identified as B/M Shaquille Gibson and the passenger, later identified as B/M Anthony Hardimon, exited the vehicle and fled on foot, while the vehicle was still in motion. Gibson left the vehicle in drive, causing the Kia to strike a parked car. Officer Rivera was able to catch Gibson as he was attempting to jump over a fence and take him into custody without incident. As officer Herny was chasing Hardimon, Officer Castro was able to locate Hardimon hiding underneath a vehicle. Officer Castro gave loud verbal commands for Hardimon to surrender to officers however, Hardimon attempted to flee on foot as he was getting up from the ground. Hardimon was subsequently tased by Officer Castro and taken into custody. Both Gibson and Hardimon was TOT PBCJ.
16-010435 0805hrs Burglary Auto 544 NW 10th Ave
Victim stated that their vehicle was burglarized and items were stolen from within sometime between 02/22/2016 at 2200hrs and 0500hrs today
16-010483 1223hrs Burglary Auto L.A. Fitness 2290 N. Congress Ave.
Victim stated that sometime between 1145 and 1215hrs today, unknown suspect(s) smashed the window on her vehicle and stole the gym bag which was left on the front passenger seat, in plain view.
16-010060 The 2014 Lexus stolen from St. Andrews Club on 02/21/2016 was recovered abandoned behind 210 SW 8th Ave.
Extra Patrols conducted at St. Andrews Club as well as various gas stations.
