Contact was made with victim who stated between the hours of 1300 and 1645 today unknown suspect(s) entered her apartment and took things from within. The victim advised that one of her firearms was taken (Glock 43 serial number BAFF168), along with other various items. The firearm was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
17-06945 1839hrs Overdose (Fatal) 2400 SW 19th Ave
White male was found unconscious by his room-mate. It appeared that the subject suffered from a drug overdose. CSI and Detective Bureau responded.
17-006861 0839hrs Burglary (Vehicle) 2000 South Federal Highway
Victim reported that between 2200 hours on 02/04/2017, and 0500 hours on 02/05/2017, an unknown person burglarized her unlocked silver 2006 Audi A4. The following items were missing from the vehicle: 3 misc. gift cards ($45), AAA card ($1), Capital One credit card ($1), pocket knife ($10), two earbud sets ($10), charger ($15), underwear ($5), and $100 US currency.
17-006871 1030hrs Burglary (Compound) 410 NE 5th Avenue
Victim reported that between 02/03/17 at 1800 hours, and 02/06/17 at 0800 hours, an unknown suspect entered the compound of Beck’s Towing by cutting the chain link fence on the east side of the property. A white 1997 Honda CR80-HV dirt bike VIN (JH2HE0433VK100136) was found to be missing, and entered into F/NCIC as stolen. The damage to the fence is estimated at $1,500.
17-006886 1111hrs Larceny (City of BB Property) 2623 SE 4th Street
City of Boynton Beach (Streets) employee reported that an unknown person(s) removed two speed bump warning signs from the side of the roadway. It is unknown when the signs were stolen. Total loss is estimated at $400.
17-006808 2225 hours 140 W. Ocean Ave. Suspicious Incident/shots fired
Officers canvassed the area, no victims, no witnesses, no evidence located.
17-006834 0134 hours 112 NW 5th Ave Disorderly Intox/Resisting Arrest w/out
Officers responded due to noise complaint coming from a vehicle. Officers located Bobby Johnson III was found sitting on the trunk of his vehicle in the middle of the roadway with the stereo extremely loud. Johnson’s vehicle was causing a traffic hazard and he refused to lower the volume of the stereo. Johnson was intoxicated and refused identify himself to Officers. As Officers began to take Johnson into custody, Johnson began to resist the Officers by pulling away. Johnson was taken to the ground and handcuffed. Johnson was transported to BMH, medically cleared, and transported to Palm Beach County jail.
17-006684 06045 Overdose Non-Fatal 712 NW 3rd Street
Officers responded to 712 NW 3rd Street in reference to an overdose. W/M D was observed unconscious on the living room floor with agonal breathing. He was transported to Bethesda Hospital by BBFR and is expected to make a full recovery.
17-6489 CCF 2200 N Congress Ave 0529hrs
Sergio Rodriguez was stopped for a traffic infraction. Rodriguez was in possession of a .40 Glock 23 which he had concealed in his waistband. Sergio Rodriguez was arrested and t.o.t. PBCJ. The handgun was t.o.t. evidence.
17-6578 Fire 608 SW 3rd Ave 1408hrs
Officers responded to a structure fire and provided traffic control for FD. Officer evacuated the adjacent homes. Roadway was closed for the duration of the response.
17-6578 Traffic Crash S Federal Hwy & Turner Rd 1509hrs
Officers responded to the report of a vehicle vs. motorcyclist. The motorcycle rider sustained a broken arm. CS responded.
17-6432 1929 hours Lewd/Lascivious-Arrest
Martin Andres Martin (20 yoa) was arrested after he confessed to a sexual relationship with a 14 yoa pregnant female. He was processed and sent to the Palm Beach County Jail. See Major Case Log for more information.
17-6467 2357 hours Shots Fired 1622 NE 4th Court
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area. It was determined that the residence was struck 5x by a .40 cal handgun. There were no reported injuries.
