Victim advised on this date between 1100 and 1830 hours someone had entered and ransacked the residence. Multiple electronic devices and currency were taken. Later revealed the rear door was unsecured.

Victim states sometime between 06/25/2017 at 1430 hours and today’s date at 1800 hours, someone entered her residence and stole a jewelry box that contained approx. $26,000 in watches, necklaces and earrings.

Officers identified a black BMW, Fl tag BDZ0T, that was reported stolen several days ago and driving recklessly on NW 10th Avenue. The vehicle failed to yield to officers as it continued south on I-95.

Officers initiated a traffic stop on gray 2007 Nissan Versa Fl tag BMPZ22. Officers made contact with the driver who provided his Florida DL upon demand. Upon being questioned for suspected narcotics within the vehicle, the driver proceeded south on Seacrest Blvd. Officers disengaged at Gulfstream and Seacrest Blvd and all info tot Delray Bch PD. Charges will be filed on the driver with the SAO.

Officers attempted a traffic stop on a gray 2005 VW Passat, Fl tag Y82KRT. This vehicle was reported stolen earlier today within the city. The vehicle failed to yield as it continued north on Federal Hwy from Hypoluxo Road.

Victim advised that unknown suspect(s) stole her 2013 Nissan Juke, FL tag DEHH61. Victim stated that the vehicle was locked, however, the spare key was located in the glovebox.
17-035529 Failed to Stop – Reckless Driver 1000 N. Federal Hwy 1924hrs
Ofc. Vazquez attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a gray Nissan Altima FL tag GWR-H66 for an observed traffic infraction. The driver of the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed northbound on N. Federal Hwy. Ofc. Vazquez immediately terminated his traffic attempt. NCIC/FCIC records check of the vehicle’s tag did not indicate the vehicle to be a felony vehicle. Attempts at contacting the vehicle’s registered owner yielded negative results.
17-035538 Agg. Assault Firearm 301 N. Congress Ave 1957hrs
Officers responded to the above address and met with the caller and her son. The caller told officers she approached a vehicle near the intersection and asked the driver for “some change”. In response, the driver offered the caller a barrage of profane words. The caller and her adult son then engaged into a heated verbal argument with the driver. The caller claimed that the driver produced a firearm and pointed the firearm at the caller. Officers were able to locate the involved vehicle at the 700 block of W. Boynton Beach Blvd. Following a thorough investigation of the incident, the officers decided to file criminal charges against the driver the State Attorney’s Office.

W/F, Diane Lillie, 06/19/56, was found asleep in the grass near a hedge by a passerby walking their dog. Lillie was unable to verbally communicate and was taken to Bethesda Memorial Hospital as a precaution by Fire Rescue. Lillie was removed from FCIC/NCIC. PIO was notified.
17-35418 0652 hrs Police Assist (Found Child) 2600 N. Seacrest Blvd.
A 5 yoa child was found walking within the roadway of Seacrest Blvd. by a passerby. A reverse 911 was issued, a door to door search initiated, and the PIO was notified. The mother of the child made contact with police via telephone after she was alerted by a third party. Investigation revealed the child had been dropped off at a family friend’s residence just outside of the city limits by the mother’s sister at approximately 0600 hours. PBSO responded to conduct further investigation to determine any further action.
17-35455 1311 hrs Burglary Residence SW 25th Ave.
Victim personally observed a white van with red lettering back into the driveway yesterday at 1430 hours and two subjects entered his garage. Subjects took a generator and drove away. No suspect descriptions provided. Victim advised he delayed in reporting incident due to a medical condition.
17-035325 2135 hours Stolen Vehicle 77 Landau Street.
Victim reported that unknown subject possibly his addict brother stole his vehicle from his residence. The keys were in the vehicle during the theft. The vehicle is a 2006 grey BMW bearing FL tag HXCK99. Vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC. At approximately 2300 hours officers spotted the vehicle in the 1700 block of N. Seacrest Blvd. A felony stop was conducted and B/M Orville Sampson the victim’s brother was placed under arrest. TOT PBCJ.

Victim reported that unknown suspects stole his scooter from Sara Sims Park. The keys were in the scooter during the theft. The vehicle is 2017 red Tao Scooter bearing FL tag MDX133. Vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC.
The platoon responded to 3 non-fatal overdoses during the course of the shift. Naloxone injections were given by officers at all three incidents.

Officer Ward conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation and W/F Jennifer Ann Tyler, 04/01/69, was arrested after she was found to be in possession of a crack pipe and a Xanax pill. TOT PBCJ.
17035038 1548 hours Suspicious Death 1374 Piazza Pitti (Renaissance Commons).
Witness reported to police that she believed her friend had died of an overdose sometime in last 24 hours. There was substantial evidence to support the cause of death to be an overdoses.

Victim reported that unknown suspects entered her residence by forcing open the front door. Numerous electronic and jewelry were taken.
17034397 1733 hours Stolen Vehicle 3020 E. Palm Drive.
Victim reported that unknown suspects stole his vehicle from his residence at approximately 1800 hours. The keys were in the vehicle during the theft. The vehicle is 2014 green Toyota Carolla bearing FL tag CQZY16. Vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC.
The platoon responded to 2 non-fatal overdoses during the course of the shift.

Witnesses advised that a male suspect was running down the street chasing an unknown subject, the suspect then drew a firearm and began shooting. A .380 casing was located at 606 NE 2nd St as well as a shattered vehicle window. No victims located at the time of this writing.

Victim advised that multiple plants had been stolen from the construction site by an unknown suspect operating a white pickup truck. The thefts occurred during working hours.

Units responded and assisted with a large gas leak at the construction site located at 500 E. Ocean Ave. No injuries.

Officers were present at BMH when a b/m identified as Aaron Stephenson was admitted with a suspected (not life threatening) gunshot wound. Stephenson was not cooperative and stated that he was shot in Delray Beach. DBPD notified.

Officers responded to suspected fireworks related disturbance. No violations located.
17-34925 Auto Theft Arrest/DWLSCR/Felon Poss Ammo 1500 S Seacrest Blvd 0141hrs
Officers located a stolen GMC Terrain (from PBSO) and a stop was initiated. The suspect Zachary Richardson drove into Pelican Point (dead end) and was apprehended without incident. Richardson was in possession of handgun ammo.
