17-036216 1450 hours Grand Theft/ Fleeing and Eluding 1901 N. Congress Ave.
Officers responded to the above address in reference to a retail theft. Arriving officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle leaving the scene. The vehicle initially refused to stop as the suspects attempted to conceal items. A traffic stop was conducted in the area behind Michaels. While taking the driver into custody the passenger later identified as B/M Joshua Jones took control of the vehicle and fled the scene. The vehicle driving at a high rate of speed collided with a parked U-haul truck on Renaissance Commons Blvd and drove off. The vehicle, which was disabled, crashed into a fence near the club house and the remaining occupants fled on foot. A perimeter was set and all suspects were captured.
17-036200 1513 hours Traffic Homicide Hypoluxo and Lawrence Road.
Officers responded to a 3 vehicle accident at the intersection of Hypoluxo and Lawrence Road. It is believed that one of the driver’s became unconscious at the wheel and collided with another vehicle head-on.
17-036278 2007 hours Burglary Residence 1533 Meadows Circle West.
Victim reported that unknown suspects entered his residence by breaking the lock on the front door. Once inside the suspect removed jewelry and a television.
The platoon responded to 2 non-fatal overdoses during the course of the shift.

34 year old w/m became unresponsive in the drive-thru of Dunkin Donuts. The male was treated with Narcan and subsequently sent to Bethesda Hospital.
17-036123 0929 hours Overdose (Non-fatal) 480 W Boynton Beach Blvd
21 year old w/f was found unresponsive in her room inside the Inn. The female was treated with Narcan and subsequently sent to Bethesda Hospital.

B/M Kenneth Hardy was found to have an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation from Kentucky. Hardy was processed and sent to county jail.
17-036171 1303 hours Burglary (Residence) 651 E Woolbright Road
Victim reported that between 1000 hours on June 23rd and 1600 hours on June 24th unknown person(s) entered her apartment via an unlocked rear door. Once inside, the unknown suspect(s) stole a Casio camera ($50); a Garmin GPS ($160); a Chanel purse ($1000); a gold necklace ($450); a set of gold earrings ($50).

Officers located the 2004 blue Grand Cherokee FL N374JS at the above location. The vehicle was unoccupied. PBSO was called pursuant to their bolo request. PBSO responded and recovered the vehicle.
17-36032 Fail to stop/Arrest Armed Robbery 1300 N Seacrest Blvd 2125hrs
Officers located a blk BMW that they believed was involved in Lantana 17-1588 and BBPD 17-35832 (bolo’d robbery vehicle). Officers were able to attempt a stop. The vehicle did not yield but, drove to 1531 NW 2nd St where the driver Granvill Dorsett was apprehended. Investigation revealed that this was not the bolo’d vehicle. Granvill was charged under an outstanding Armed Robbery warrant. Granvill was tot. PBCJ.

Officers located Sierra Pettit in an apparent state of unconsciousness. In checking on Pettit’s welfare it became apparent that she was in possession of marijuana. While being taken into custody Petitt resisted, battered an officer (no reported injury to officer) and additionally attempted to spit on another officer. Pettit was medically cleared at BMH (intoxication). Tot PBCJ.
