Officers responded to Tri Rail in ref. to a fare evasion. Officers arrested the suspect and processed him a BBPD. He was then released with an NTA.
15-025284 AOD PBSO 3117 Karen Dr. 1117hrs
Officers responded to the above address PBSO jurisdiction (South Fed. Hwy Trade Winds) in ref. to an armed occupied burglary. Units set up a perimeter. The suspects were located and arrested in Waterside. PBSO handled the case.
15-025287 Armed Robbery 1901 N. Congress Ave. (Kohl’s) 1127hrs
Officers responded to the above address in ref. to an armed robbery. The victim advised that while walking to work she cut behind Kohl’s to get to the Brus Room when a blue Chevy vehicle 4 dr. with dark tinted windows pulled in front of her. She stated that the driver was a B/M with dreds, and the back seat passenger had a mask over his face. She told officers that the backseat passenger pointed a gun at her and told her to give him her purse. The victim stated she tried to turn away and the vehicle cut in front of her to stop her from walking and the backseat passenger jumped out and pointed the gun in her face. The suspect then forcibly took the purse and returned to the vehicle at which time they fled the area.

Officers responded to more than 100 individuals causing a disturbance at the aforesaid location. The individuals dispersed shortly thereafter without incident.

Officer Esteves arrested B/M Herman Holley for having an open container. When Holley resisted officers’ control a drive stun was delivered to gain compliance. Holley was released with NTA.

Ofc. Levine made contact with several subjects at Dewey Park. One of which had an open container. The subject was issued an NTA for the open container and issued a trespass warning.
15-025102 Gambling 130 BLK NW 10th Ave. 1119hrs
Officer McCoy and Ofc. Munro conducted surveillance on 130 E. MLK Blvd. (Quick Stop) in ref. to ongoing gambling. They apprehended 4 suspects gambling and seized $59.00. All suspects were issued NTA’s. The US Currency was TOT evidence.

Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident.
15-025059 Fleeing & Eluding 100 NE 10th Avenue
A subject vehicle (described as a Red 2008 Chrysler 300 bearing FL 951PBW), which was in the area of the above suspicious incident, fled from officers who were attempting to conduct a traffic stop. Officers disengaged shortly thereafter without incident.

Officer McCoy conducted surveillance in the 100 BLK of NW 10th Ave. on a few subjects gambling. Once Ofc. McCoy observed the gambling between the 3 she moved in and apprehended all subjects. A fourth subject was able to recover the money and flee the scene. Ofc. McCoy is attempting to identify. All 3 subjects were issued NTA.
