Officers responded in reference to a construction worker having fallen approximately 25 feet from a platform. Upon arrival contact was made with w/m who was conscious and breathing. He was deemed a trauma alert by EMS and transported to Delray. Officers maintained crime scene and accompanied him to the hospital until it was discovered he only suffered a few broken bones with no major injury. OSHA notified.
17028602 2317 hours Armed Carjacking Chase Bank / 555 N Congress
Victim was utilizing the drive up ATM when he was approached by two (2) unknown black males. One pulled out a small semi-automatic handgun and ordered him out of the vehicle. The suspects relieved him of approximately $500 dollars in cash and drove away in the victim’s 2004, Chevy Blazer, gold, FL tag#Y43HDB. Victim was not injured and the vehicle entered F/NCIC.

Victim reported that his unlocked vehicle was entered which enabled the suspect(s) to steal several items including his garage door opener thus allowing access into the garage where they steal several more items. This occurred on May 21st, 2017 between 2000 – 0000 hours. Total loss is $910.

A semi-truck became disabled on the overpass after its load which consisted of a large concrete slab shift partially off the flatbed trailer leaning towards the northbound lanes of I-95. Traffic flow on I-95 and West Boynton Beach Blvd. was redirected until the concrete slab could be re-secured to the flatbed trailer.

Workers damaged a gas line during construction. Officers assisted the Boynton Beach Fire Department by blocking off the surrounding area until the gas leak was fixed.

Victim stated she met with an old acquaintance of hers, whom she could not remember his name, though described him as a middle aged, light skinned B/M (no further description) and proceeded to drive around subsequently stopping at the 600 block of Northeast 2nd Street. The victim stated the male remained inside her vehicle while she exited to speak with some friends. Shortly after doing so, the victim observed her vehicle, a black 2008 Dodge Caliber Florida tag# 848MNC, departing the area.
