Victim stated he entered Wal-Mart at 0730 hours and exited at 0805 hours noticing his vehicle, black Chevy Tahoe was unlocked. It wasn’t until the victim arrived home to discover his 9 mm Ruger LC9S, serial # 328-32625, was missing from middle console. The firearm was entered into F/NCIC.

Victim/Vehicle Owner advised his daughter had utilized his blue 2014 Dodge Journey, Fl tag DWJS33, to purchase narcotics in the area of 600 NE 2nd Street at which time a subject known as “Lee” entered the abandoned vehicle leaving the area. Keys are with the vehicle. Vehicle entered into F/NCIC.

17-029945 2150 hours Stolen Vehicle/Scooter (delayed) 713 SE 4th Street Victim/Vehicle Owner advised he parked his silver 2016 silver Taoi Scooter FL tag MBVV11 on 05/27/2017 and discovered it missing on this date. Keys are with the victim. Scooter entered into F/NCIC.

Officers attempted to stop a white Toyota bearing FL temp tag T211361. The Toyota failed to stop as it proceeded northbound on I-95, at which time officers terminated all efforts.
**Officers responded to several calls (noise, 13P’s) to the 400 block NW 13th Avenue reference a block party with around 200 to 300 attendees. Extra patrols were conducted.
17-029785 0539hrs Burglary 2005 S. Federal Hwy.Victim advised that he discovered his storage area was burglarized and food items were taken from within. The video surveillance shows the suspect enter and steal the items between 0156 and 0215hrs today.

Victim advised that an unknown male asked him for directions then displayed a handgun and told the victim to give him his wallet. The suspect drove away in a large white SUV, no further information.

2013 Nissan which had been carjacked was recovered unoccupied by Riviera Beach Police Department at 734 52nd St. Vehicle was towed to station and secured for pending processing.

Units responded to the aforesaid location in reference to a report of shots fired; however, after a canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident until such time additional information can be gleaned.

Units responded to the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot in reference to an Armed Carjacking. Upon arrival officers met with the victim; who stated, two b/m suspects wearing all black pointed a firearm at his head and demanded the keys to his 2013 Blue Nissan Maxima FL. Tag HMH-X46. The victim complied with their request and the suspects subsequently fled south bound on Congress Ave. Units met with negative results in locating the vehicle. The victim was unharmed during the above incident. Crime scene was negative for any potential leads.

Victim discovered approximately 35 to 40 shutters stolen from a locked storage compartment that is affixed to the rear of the building after following up an inquiry made by a customer. The time frame is unknown as the estimated loss is approximately $4,000.

Victim discovered items stolen from her vehicle after attending a friend’s graduation party located at the aforementioned address. The suspect(s) were able to enter the vehicle as the vehicle was left unlock due to a mechanical issue. Estimated total loss is approximately $530.

Officers responded in reference to several individuals stealing from within the store. Upon officers’ arrival, a male suspect attempted to flee on foot. Officers gave chase and did have to utilize physical force to take him into custody.

Detail officer was notified of a person with a gun. Uniform Services officers responded and prior to arrival the detail officer observed shots being fired from within the crowd of an estimated 1,000 attendees. Officers entered and were able to clear all persons from the scene. No victims/injuries located.

Officers responded in reference to Delray PD requesting assistance for an arrestee who was overdosing while in transport. BBPD arrived and administered the Naloxone HCL injection. The suspect regained consciousness and was transported from the scene by EMS.

The suspect entered the business at 0405 hours and proceeded to register 19 where he proceeded to steal an unknown amount of tobacco products. The suspect concealed these items inside a bag and attempted to exit the business. The victim approached the suspect in attempts to recovering the property; however, the suspect removed a knife from his person and threaten to stab the victim. The victim fled into the business and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a white male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’9, 180 pounds.

The victim was making a food delivery at the above residence and left his vehicle running with the keys in the ignition. An unknown black male jumped in the driver seat and drove off with the vehicle. Responding officers spotted the vehicle abandoned near the Preserve community (1900 NE 4th St). The vehicle was recovered and processed by CSI. No suspect info available.

Officers responded to an in-progress burglary to a vehicle. The caller advised that a group of 4-5 juveniles were inside his vehicle going through the contents of the vehicle. The caller confronted the juveniles and the juveniles ran westbound from the community. The suspects were gone prior to police arrival. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.

Officers to an in-progress burglary to a vehicle. A neighbor called police when he witness a group of males attempting to gain entry into a vehicle. The males who matched the description of of a previous incident fled the scene upon seeing the caller. The males were last seen running into Sand & Sea community. The suspects were described as 5 black male juveniles, one of whom was riding a bicycle. Officers checked the parking lot and surrounding communities for the suspects which yielded negative results.

Officers responded to the Homing Inn in reference to an armed robbery. The caller/victim told officers he was speaking with a group of males in the parking lot of the business. The males offered him the services of a prostitute. After the victim accepted the offer, the males decided to rob him of his wallet and cell phone. The victim said the males got into a silver vehicle and fled northbound on Federal Hwy. The victim did not want to cooperate with officers inquiry into the incident. The victim told officers he just wanted his wallet back and signed a refusal to prosecute form.

Victim reported that unknown suspect(s) entered the Quantum Lakes Construction Site and proceeded to vandalize approximately 6 units. This occurred overnight after 2100 hours and was discovered this morning. Total estimated loss is reportedly $50,000. Crime Scene responded to process the scene.
17-029202 09:33 Hours Retail Theft 1601 South Congress Avenue
Officers responded to an in progress retail theft in which the suspect vehicle was leaving the scene as officers were arriving. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop; however, the vehicle refused to stop and began driving reckless at a high rate of speed. Officers terminated all attempts to stop the vehicle as it continued north on Knuth Road. An officer followed from a distance to ensure this vehicle did not crash into an oncoming motorist and observed the suspect vehicle head east onto West Boynton Beach Blvd. The suspect vehicle proceeded into the BJ’s parking lot and bailed out of the vehicle behind the store. During this incident the suspect vehicle struck a motorist as it was entering the BJ’s parking lot. No injuries and minor damage sustained to the motorist’s vehicle.

Victim parked his vehicle at the aforementioned address and entered his friend’s residence only to return approximately 10 minutes later to discover his vehicle broken into. The suspect(s) stole a computer bag containing a Dell Laptop (No serial number). Estimated loss is $500.

Victim reported he discovered that unknown suspect(s) entered his residence after making forced entry to the rear door and stole a box of imported Italian Liquor. Victim stated the time frame for this occurrence could have been from 04.24.17 till this date as the victim was unsure about reporting the incident. Estimated loss is $500.
17-029235 12:32 Hours Trafficking in Oxycodone 1005 North Seacrest Blvd
PTO Ward and OIT Cardenas arrested Ralph Hightower Jr. after their investigation revealed Ralph was in possession of 12.3 grams of Oxycodone. Additionally, Lonnie Williams was arrested after he obstructed their investigation. Ralph was turned over to the Palm Beach County Jail and Lonnie was released on scene with a Notice to Appear in court.
