Contact was made with the victim, who advised that between 0200 and 0630 on 11-28-16 an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked 2007 gray Pontiac G6, PA # GTR2801, while parked in front of his residence. There were no signs of forced entry.
16-066339 1755hrs Burglary to Auto 103 Chippewa Cir
Contact was made contact with vehicle victim advised that on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at approximately 2200 hours she parked her silver 2014 Hyundai Sonata bearing FL Tag 720PAN in the driveway of her residence unsecured (doors not locked). Upon returning to her vehicle on 11-28-16 at 0630 hours she observed her vehicle ransacked and approximately $5-$10 in miscellaneous change missing from the center console.

16066278- 1352 hours Juvenile Trouble Miner Rd/Ocean Pkwy
Units responded to a 911call reporting juveniles pointing the guns at cars. Two juveniles ran from officers as they arrived in the area. The juveniles were detained by officers in the 300 block of Northeast 28th Court, where two pellet guns were recovered. Both juveniles admitted to skipping school, and to pointing the pellet guns at passing cars. Officers explained the related dangers, and the potential for a negative outcome, to both youth’s. The pellet guns were confiscated from the children, and both were released to the custody of their mother (s).
16066264- 1352 hours Child Neglect/DCF Case 309 SE 21st Avenue
A 3 year old juvenile was found walking alone in the 300 Blk of SE 21st Ave. Officer’s Jean and Adea eventually located the child’s mother at her work place, and she responded to the station. A DCF representative responded and also interviewed the mother. The child was unharmed during the incident and returned to the custody of the mother. The officer’s also identified the caregiver who was responsible for the child when the incident occurred. Charges will be forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office.
