37 year old male found unresponsive by his father. Male was taken to Bethesda Hospital.
17-059339 0902 hours Burglary (Residence) Swallow Drive
Victim reported that at 1650 hours on 10/12/17 he came home from work and noticed a blanket on the stairs. He went upstairs and discovered an envelope with $400.00 missing from the night stand. He didn’t call that night as he thought his wife might have moved it. Today he discovered fresh pry marks on the sliding glass door. An inventory of his house revealed that approximately $2,000 of his wife’s jewelry is missing.
17-059348 1043 hours Theft (Recovery) 1005 W Gateway Blvd
Officers responded to a bike theft in-progress. Witnesses advise that several black male juveniles had stolen the victim’s bike and he was pursuing them on foot. Officer Halpern observed the juveniles riding west along Gateway Blvd. He attempted to make contact with them but the jumped off the bike and fled into the wooded area. Officer Halpern was able to detain two of the three juveniles and Sgt. Everett stopped the third. A show-up was conducted with positive results; however, victim did not want to prosecute and only wanted his bike back. Juveniles released to their respective parents.
17-059355 1214 hours Burglary (Auto) 2450 Quantum Boulevard
Victim stated that between 1700 hours yesterday and 1200 hours today unknown person(s) entered her unlocked silver 2014 Nissan Altima bearing FL tag ERKM39. Taken from the center console was $150 in cash. The car was in the lot of the Townplace Suites.
17-059267 Agg. Battery Cutting Inst. 2815 S. Seacrest Blvd 1931 hours
Officers responded to Bethesda Hospital and met with the 17 year old victim of a delayed stabbing. The victim’s parents who were also present informed officers that the victim was involved in a fist fight with several male juveniles and one of the males stabbed the victim in the process. The victim had several cuts on his person and a laceration to his forearm. The victim told officers the incident took place near a Presbyterian church on the way from Delray Beach. Officers were not able to determine the exact location and/or jurisdiction of the incident. Investigation on-going.
17-059313 Pursuit / Carjacking Vehicle 1400 NW 1st Ct 0158 hours
While on patrol, officers spotted a blue 2017 Toyota (FL tag HDLF13) that was stolen in a carjacking out of Delray Beach earlier in the day. After confirming the NCIC/FCIC Hit, a pursuit was authorized and officers pursued the vehicle northbound on I-95. The vehicle continued to flee from officers at a high rate of speed northbound on I-95. The pursuit was terminated at the Martin County Line and Officers were ordered to return to the City. As officers were returning to the City, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office relayed to BBPD Dispatch that the vehicle was disabled by a MCSO deputy’s stop stick near mile marker 102. MCSO deputies apprehended one male and a firearm from within the vehicle. MCSO deputies and their helicopter were tracking for 2 other males that ran from the vehicle. MCSO ultimately located the other two males and took them into custody.
The platoon responded to 2 non-fatal overdose during the course of the shift.
17-059148 0643 hours Burglary (Auto) 1237 Gondola Lane
Victim stated that between 0345 hours and 0630 hours unknown person(s) entered his unlocked black 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing FL tag JI3NT. The unknown suspect(s) stole a Springfield XDS 9mm firearm ($600) and his wallet from the center console. In the wallet were $100 cash and several credit cards.
17-059151 0727 hours Burglary (Auto) 13107 Mahogany Bay Drive
Victim stated that between 2300 hours and 0720 hours unknown person(s) entered his silver 2005 Toyota Camry bearing FL tag 730MND by smashing the front and rear passenger windows. Stolen from the car was a pair of Aldo suede boots ($150).
17-059154 0736 hours Carjacking 550 NW 4th Avenue
Victim reported that at approximately 2400 hours he picked up a black male known only as “magic” at the Chevron, 200 N Federal Hwy. He drove around with Magic in an effort to sell an Xbox and purchase some heroin. Victim was able to sell the console but unable to buy heroin. Magic asked to be dropped off to the rear of Galaxy Elementary at which point Magic punched him several times in the face and took his rental car, a white 2017 Nissan Altima bearing FL tag W171WJ. Victim stated he walked around for several hours before reporting it due to being ‘lost”. The car was entered into FCIC/NCIC as a felony vehicle. Update: at 1200 hours Dispatch was notified by City Towing, 510 NE 3rd Street that the vehicle had been towed to their lost as a private property tow from 632 NW 5th Street. Crime Scene responded to process; car was removed from FCIC/NCIC; Enterprise notified.
17-058951 0327 hours Carjacking (Update) 216 NE 16th Avenue
At 1115 hours PBSO via teletype advised that the had stopped the gray 2015 Nissan Altima bearing FL tag GDQC25 in Lake Worth and detained three (3) occupants. Detective Villari and Crime Scene responded to process the car and interview the detained. PBSO charged the driver with GTA.
17-059163 1009 hours Recovered GTA 3491 Ocean Parkway
Officers recovered a blue 2017 Nissan Versa bearing FL tag IMTQ98 which was found running with heavy front-end damage. The car had been reported stolen from PBSO jurisdiction. PBSO notified of recovery. The car was towed to Blakes’s Towing.
17-059181 1043 hours Robbery (Firearm) 116 Arthur Court
Victim stated he had just exited his residence when he was approached by three (3) young black males who asked for a cigarette. When he informed them he didn’t smoke one pulled out a large black handgun and demanded money. Victim gave them $300 cash. Victim stated he was in shocked and could not give a direction of travel or whether they left in a car or on foot.

Victim reported that between 1900 hours last night and 0800 hours this date unknown person(s) entered her unlocked white 2012 BMW 325 bearing FL tag BTEW76. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) stole her Microsoft Surface Pro-4 laptop ($1,500).

38 year old female was found to be under the influence of some type of drug. Officers located her in the bedroom which she trashed and was flailing around on the floor. BBFR sedated her and she was transported to JFK Hospital.

Victim reported that between midnight and 0800 hours unknown person(s) entered his unlocked black 2012 Kia Sorrento bearing FL tag EWJG86. The unknown suspect(s) opened the center console and stole a purse containing $50 in currency and some credit cards. The unknown suspect(s) also stole $100 in currency from the sunglass holder.
