18-054542 2118 hours Failed to Stop 3000 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Units were conducting a selective enforcement at the aforementioned location. Based on a traffic infraction Officer Hall attempted a stop on a Grey Chevrolet Malibu which failed to yield. The vehicle proceeded East bound onto Gateway Blvd at a high rate of speed; where Hall terminated the stop. N.O.I was gleaned during the incident.
Units conducted extra patrols at Alibaba’s Café due to recent fights at closing.
18-054428 0657 hours BURGLARY AUTO 1601 N CONGRESS AVE/ MARRIOTT
On 10/21/18 Officers responded to 1601 N Congress Ave (Courtyard Marriott) in reference to a delayed burglary to a vehicle. Officers canvassed the parking lot and found a total of (7) seven vehicles that had been burglarized with the front passenger window smashed. Contact with the victims were made and it was learned that the suspects rummaged through the vehicles consoles and glove compartments, removing a small amounts of cash and misdemeanor items from the vehicles.
18-054477 0830 hours BURGLARY AUTO 2 SOUTHERN CROSS LN #201
On 10/21/18 Officer responded to the above location in reference to a delayed auto burglary. The complainant stated that an unknown person entered the vehicle without her permission and removed her purse. The victim stated that her vehicle, 2005 green Nissan Altima, FL tag N567ES was properly parked.
18-054444 0914 hours POLICE ASSIST/AOD US MARSHALS -WARRANT ARREST 1513 S FEDERAL HWY
Officers assisted Agent Hanning in a warrant pick up out of Oklahoma from the above location. The defendant was taken into custody without incident and transported to PBC Jail.
18-054292 1345 hours BURGLARY TOOL SHED 529 NW 5TH
On 10/20/18 at approximately 1345 hours, Officer responded to 529 NW 5th St in reference to a burglary to residence. Upon arrival the victim stated that sometime between 1500 hours on 10/19 and 1300 hours on today’s date, an unknown subject entered his tool shed and stole his red and black Toro blower ($130), weed eater ($150) and edger ($150).
18-054329 Traffic Crash Arrest 1901 NW 1st St1802 hours
B/M Edwin Thomas (DOB 12/18/92) was arrested for leaving the scene of a crash involving injuries. Edwin was operating an ATV at the above location when he struck a 5 year child. Thomas left the scene but later returned. Child was transported to Bethesda with minor injuries. Thomas was later charged and TOT PBCJ. Forfeiture paperwork was completed on the ATV.
18-054396 Recovered Stolen Vehicle 1799 N Congress Ave 0026 hours
Ofc Sohn and OIT Waiters observed a Nissan Altima (FL tag 400QNE) driving blacked out with the passenger side door open in the parking lot of above location. Traffic stop was attempted when the vehicle accelerated then stopped abruptly. Occupants fled on foot. Passenger was subsequently taken into custody. Vehicle was found to be stolen out of PBSO. Jahbari Hill (DOB 4/22/03) was charged with Trespass in a conveyance and Resisting Arrest W/O violence and later released to a parent.
18-054419 Overdose- Non Fatal 2821 S Seacrest (Homing Inn) 0341 hours
**Units conducted extra patrols at Ezell Hester throughout the evening due to Homecoming/Football Game. There were approximately 400-500 persons in the area throughout the event. All persons and vehicles cleared the area without incident.
18-054060 0654 hours Auto Burglary 1825 BANYAN CREEK CIR N
On 10/19/18 Officer responded to 1825 Banyan Creek Cir N in reference to an auto burglary. Upon meeting with the victim, it was learned that sometime between 10/18 2300 and 10/19 0600, an unknown person(s) entered the rear bed of his blue Ford Ranger, FL tag SNF91 and removed his Grade light Laser 2500 ($4000 value), and his Stihl 420 cement saw ($800 value). There was no damage to the truck and the total loss is estimated at $4,800.
18-054054 0711 hours Auto Burglary 438 BOYNTON BAY CIR
On 10/19/18 Officer responded to 438 Boynton Beach Cir in reference to an auto burglary. Upon meeting with the victim, it was learned that between 2130hrs on 10-18-018 and 0700hrs on 10-19-18, unknown person(s) unlawfully entered her black 2018 Mazda CX-5,
bearing FL tag N459CU and removed a FL Sunpass from the glove box. There were no signs of forced entry or any damaged to the vehicle.
18-054067 0748 hours Stolen Vehicle 1215 ASBURY WAY
On 10/19/18 Officer responded to 1215 Asbury Way in reference to a stolen vehicle. I met with the victim who advised that sometime between 0000-0630, an unknown suspect stole his black 2008 Mazda 3 FL tag CKAP42). He is still in possession of his keys. There were no signs of forced entry where the car was parked (i.e. broken glass, tools) and there were no witnesses. Vehicle entered F/NCIC.
18-054068 0906 hours Stolen Vehicle 1217 VIA DE FOSSI
On 10/19/18 Officer responded to 1217 Via De Fossi (Firenze) in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon meeting with the victim who stated that she left her vehicle unsecured with the keys inside of the vehicle. Shaver stated that an unknown person(s) entered and removed her gray 2013 four door Toyota Tacoma pick up FL tag GQDV53 from the area without her permission. There were no cameras in the area or suspect information. Vehicle entered F/NCIC.
18-054088 1141 hours Robbery /Firearm 410 NE 3RD ST/ SCOTT’S STARTER-ALTERNATORS
On 10/19/18 Officers responded to an arm robbery at the above location. Complainant/victim stated that an unknown B/M came into his business armed with a firearm, pointed the firearm at him and demanded cash. Comp. stated that the male took cash and ran out of the business in a SE direction along the FEC tracks. The suspect is described as B/M, LSW a white shirt, with short hair and gold teeth. Officers checked the surrounding area, but was unable to locate the suspect. The owners of the business is currently working on the surveillance from the business.
