15052104 2206 hours Scheme to Defraud/Criminal Mischief (City Property) Macy’s 801 N Congress
OFC Hoffman arrested employee, B/F Katiana Suprius dob 12/23/1990, due to an extensive investigation by Macy’s Loss prevention in which Suprius had defrauded the company over the past year of more than $10,000.00 of consumable goods, merchandise, and cash money. Upon being placed into the female holding cell, Suprius was able to damage the privacy partition in order to try and gain access to the sharp corner of the metal bracket which holds the two pieces together in an attempt to cut her wrists. OFC Hoffman and OFC Esteves observed her actions and responded appropriately, preventing Suprius from harming herself. She was processed and later transported to PBCJ. SIR to follow.
Patrol officers and PTO units investigated multiple traffic accidents throughout the shift.
15-051965 0625 hrs. Burglary auto
On 10/29/15 at 0625 hrs. Officer responded to Orange Theory Fitness located at 395 N. Congress Ave. victim stated she parked her gold Nissan Altima (FL tag ICD271) in the parking at 0530 hrs. this date and enter her place of business. The victim front vehicle window was smashed out and several item were taken from the vehicle.
15-051969 1025 hrs. Burglary auto 1040 W. Gateway Blvd.
On 10/29/15 at 0703hrs. Officer responded to Final Fitness Gym located at 1040 W. Gateway Blvd. in reference to a delayed burglary to auto. Victim stated that between 0600- 0700hrs she parked her vehicle a gray, 2009 Toyota Corolla, 4dr, bearing FL tag BK0E in the parking lot just south of the above business and when she returned her vehicle front was smashed out.
