Victim advised shortly after he awoke up on 10-30-15 approx. 0800hrs, he noticed his vehicle keys were missing. He then checked outside his residence and noticed his vehicle was missing, a 2001 4D Blue Chevy Malibu bearing Florida Tag 348QCW decal attached 00648573. An FCIC/NCIC Bolo entry was completed.
15-52792 2148hrs Suspicious Incident (Shots Fired) 1204 NW 5th St.
Two calls were received in ref to possibly 5 to 6 shots fired in the area of Nw 10th Ave and Nw 5th St. The area was canvassed for any signs of shots being fired, which yielded in negative results.
15-052628 0507 hours Cat Burglary Royal Manor Blvd.
Victim stated that between 2300 the previous night and 0700 this morning unknown suspects entered his unlocked residence and attempted to remove numerous items. Miscellaneous tools and a ipad were taken, but recovered by PBSO reference PBSO case#15-39584. Property was recovered from 2 additional burglaries (see below).

Victim stated that between 2300 the previous night and 0600 hours this morning unknown suspects entered his car port and stole power tools. Items were recovered by PBSO.
15-049451 0749 hours Burglary Auto(delayed) SW 4th Avenue
Victim stated that between 2300 and 0700 hours, unknown subject entered his work vehicle and removed numerous items. The victim reported the following items stolen:SS4 gauges field piece ($500), field piece motor ($225), prowler leak detector ($350), motors ($1500), three Dewalt drills ($400), miscellaneous tools ($500), torches ($300), nitrogen ($150), vacuum pump ($200), recovery machine ($600), acetylene tank ($80) and an oxygen tank ($80) for a total value at approximately $4,885.
15-052529 1332hrs Vandalism to Auto (Delayed 128 E. Ocean Avenue (Civic Center)
While on patrol units were flagged down by a concerned citizen, who advised several city vehicles in the Civic Center parking lot had smashed windows. Officers found vehicles 3607, 5002, and 502 had their windows smashed with an unknown object. There is no evidence of entry was made into the vehicle, and it appears nothing was taken. Risk Management was notified of the incident.
15052402 1626 hours Welfare Check (Overdose) Quantum Blvd
Caller advised officers that he had loaned his friend a cell phone and was tracking him at the above location. Caller was vague but advised that friend was a heavy drug user and needed to be checked on. Caller gave a possible vehicle description of a silver Honda with New Jersey tags. OFC Williams and OFC Medeiros arrived in the area and located the vehicle in the back parking lot of the address. He was located inside the vehicle, unresponsive and not breathing. Officers utilized an AED and CPR techniques and were able to revive him before EMS arrival. He was transported to Bethesda ER where it took two additional doses of Narcan to fully revive him. 15-052342 0853hrs Stolen Vehicle with Trailer (Delayed) N.W. 8th Avenue
Victim advised that sometime between 0015hrs and 0800hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) stolen his white 1999 Ford F250 truck FL #N543UH and his attached white 2002 Pace American lawn trailer FL #049NYY. The victim advised the trailer contained approximately $16,000 in lawn equipment, but he could provide any serial numbers at this time. The vehicle and the trailer were entered into NCIC/FCIC as stolen.
15-52231 1503 hours Runaway Juvenile Southern Cross Cir.
Juvenile reported as a runaway by mother. She was last seen at 0800 hours this date. She is 5-03 in height, 120 lbs in weight, short brown hair, unknown clothing. Entered FCIC/NCIC.
15-52245 1638 hours Stolen Tag 1061 Fairfax Cir. W.
FL tag # N761RU reported stolen from brown 2012 Volkswagen 4dr vehicle.
15-52250 1652 hours Injunction Violation/Battery LEO SW 8th St.
W/F, Elisa Ostertag, 08/31/70, arrested after she was found to be present on her ex-husband’s property in violation of an Injuntion Order. Ostertag beg resisting efforts to arrest and secure her by dropping to the ground and refusing to walk, then began assaulting officers while being placed into a police vehicle. Officer Worrell was kicked in the chest and Ostertag subsequently wrapped her legs around her waist to continue her resistance. Officer Winland was kicked in the thigh during incident. Ostertag was subdued without injury and processed after having been “hobbled” for transport and secured in a restraint chair during booking. TOT PBCJ.
15-52248 1707 hours Trespass Arrests 1300 N. Federal Hwy.
Captain Kelley observed 5 subjects within the fenced in spillway, which is properly posted with No Trespass signs managed by the SFW Management District. Subjects arrested and NTA’d.
15-52271 1929 hours Narcotic Arrest 700 N. Federal Hwy.
Officer Worrell conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a violation and subsequently arrested W/M, Martin Lopez, 06/03/96, for possession of 2.5 grams net weight of Marijuana. NTA’d.
15-052187 1044hrs Burglary to Residence (Delayed) S. Seacrest Blvd.
Victim advised that sometime between 1600hrs on 10/27/15 and 1040hrs this morning unknown suspect(s) burglarized the above residence using the key located in the realtor’s lock box. The victim advised the unknown suspects ransacked the residence but did not take anything.
