15-043221 1030hrs Burglary to Auto (Delayed) Seabourne Cove 3559 S. Federal Hwy
A white 2007 Honda Civic was burglarized between September 13, 2015 2100hours and September 14, 2015 1030 hours. The vehicle was left unsecured, items were stolen from within.
15-043243 1330hrs Retail Theft Target 650 N. Congress Ave
Suspect stole a 40” Vizio television and exited through the fire doors into a maroon Hyundai.
15-43308 1932 hrs Suspicious Incident (Shots Fired) 100 SE 30th Ave.
Anonymous person reported hearing 3 or 4 shots fired in the area, however; no evidence was located.
15-43315 2003 hrs Leaving Scene of Accident/Injuries Lawrence Rd./Hypoluxo Rd.
B/M, Rhaleem Chunnu, 05/08/95, arrested after investigation revealed he struck two vehicles, causing one vehicle to “rollover”. Witnesses estimated Chunnu was driving at 80 MPH prior to the collision. Chunnu continued driving his vehicle after the collision in an apparent effort to leave the scene, however; the vehicle became disabled and a witness followed and remained with him until police arrival. Two occupants in Chunnu’s vehicle walked away prior to police arrival and were not located. DUI charges are pending toxicology. Injuries to occupants of other vehicles were moderate.
15-43328 2050 hrs Narcotics Arrest 2200 Block N. Federal Hwy.
Officer Medeiros approached W/F, Rachel Freed, 05/30/79, after he observed her stopped in the road with her vehicle hazard lights on. Upon inquiring if she needed assistance he observed a crack pipe in plain view. Further investigation revealed she was also in possession of a small amount of heroin and crack cocaine. Freed was arrested and TOT PBCJ. Vehicle was seized for forfeiture.
