South Florida Police K9 Competition

Officer Patrick Roedel and his partner, K9 Bane, and teams representing more than one dozen law enforcement agencies across the state will take the field at 2 p.m. at Boynton Beach High School, 4974 Park Ridge Blvd.
The competition begins with an obstacle course that is designed to mimic situations the K9 teams encounter on the streets. A demonstration featuring K9 teams from the Boynton Beach and Delray Beach police departments comes next, followed by the hardest hitting and fastest running dog competitions.

In addition to the main events, there will be a rock climbing wall, bounce house and SWAT obstacle course for kids. Food from Miller’s Ale House in Boynton Beach will be available for purchase, as well as drinks, cotton candy and popcorn.

K9 teams will be competing from the following agencies: Boca Raton Police Department, Boynton Beach Police Department, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Cocoa Police Department, Cocoa Beach Police Department, Coral Gables Police Department, Delray Beach Police Department, Highlands County Sheriff’s Office, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, Lauderhill Police Department, Miami Police Department, Plantation Police Department, Port St. Lucie Police Department, Riviera Beach Police Department, Sebastian Police Department, Sunny Isles Beach Police Department.
