Officer Autiello discovered B/M Corey Barber inside Heritage Park after it was closed pursuant to City Ordinance. Upon telling Barber to stop; Barber took flight west bound. While fleeing officers; Barber, discarded several clear plastic baggies which were located and secured by back up units. After a short foot pursuit Barber was apprehended by Autiello. Discovered inside the baggies were several individually wrapped zip lock bags containing marijuana and also a small amount of Crack Cocaine. Barber was subsequently arrested for Possession of Contraband, Possession of Marijuana with intent to Sale and Tampering with Evidence. He was tot PBCJ.
18-006407 Stolen Vehicle x2 1446 SW 25th Ave 0635hrs
Officers responded to a report of 2 vehicle thefts. Victims reported that both of their vehicles were stolen from in front of their residence. The vehicles were a 2012 white Honda Civic (FL EFQK47) and a 2014 black Toyota Corolla (FL CRUF09).
18-006419 Stolen Veh Recovery 454 S Circle Dr 0826hrs
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle (04 white Dodge Dakota FL 788RHR) out of Delray Beach PD was being tracked by GPS at the above address. As units were responding, they were updated that the vehicle had started and was moving in the area of 200 NE 20th Ave. Ofc. C. Harris quickly arrived in the area and was able to locate the vehicle traveling southbound at 1900 N Seacrest Blvd. After waiting for other units, a felony traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle in the area of 1500 NE 2nd St. The driver (b/m Roshaw Gamble (01/02/89), aka “BO”, was subsequently arrested and TOT PBCJ
At 0430 hours the BBPD Marine Unit conducted an extra patrol from the 500 block to the 2600 block of the ICW in reference to ongoing complaints about multiple vessels being improperly anchored in the ICW. 8 vessels were located and were all found to be properly anchored per FSS 327.50(2). 7 of the vessels were issued citations for anchor lights not present or operational and 1 was cited for failure to transfer title/registration.
