18-038186 2022 hours Failed to Stop 600 NW 3rd St.
Officer Roedel attempted a traffic stop on a 2011 Taupe Chevrolet Sedan bearing FL. Tag HVNX14 at the aforementioned location. The vehicle failed to yield and entered I-95 NB from Boynton Beach Blvd. The stop was subsequently terminated at the city limits.
18-038191 2039 hours Suspicious Incident (Shots Fired) 441 SW 10th Ave.
Units responded to the aforementioned area in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival they were unable to locate any corroborating evidence to indicate a weapon had been discharged in the area.
18-38075 Suspicious Incident 801 N. Congress Ave. 0748 hours
Units responded to the above location in reference to a vehicle being submerged in the retention pond to the east of JCPenny’s. Upon arrival, a small portion of the roof of a Lexus SUV could be seen in the water. Blake’s towing responded and removed the vehicle. Upon inspecting the vehicle and making contact with the registered owner’s daughter, this appeared to be a possible suicide where the body might still be in the water. D-bureau, Crime Scene, BBFD dive team were summoned to the scene as well as the Eagle from PBSO. While all of these units were coordinating the operation, the registered owner was located in John Prince Park and was subsequently Baker Acted. She stated she was upset and driving lost control of her vehicle and it went into the pond. She did not know how she got to the park.
