Police continue to investigate Sunday night’s deadly traffic crash in the 3500 block of South Federal Highway. A motorcycle was traveling south on Federal Highway around 9 p.m., when the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck heading north on Federal Highway failed to yield and began to make a left turn into the entrance of the Seabourn Cove community. The motorcycle, an orange Honda Repsol, struck the passenger’s side doors of the Dodge, which caused the truck to flip onto the driver’s side.
The driver, identified as John Lewis Grimm, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist and passenger, identified as Daniel A. Neves, 47, and Melissa Meagan Kintner, 38, both died at the scene. At this time, it is unknown who was driving the motorcycle.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Traffic Homicide Investigator Lawrence Rini at 561-732-8116.
