Boynton Beach Police are investigating a shooting that injured two men last night in the area of Seacrest Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Officers heard shots coming from the area at around 9:38 p.m., at around the same time dispatch received a call about a man who had been shot. Officers located the man in the 100 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. He was taken to a local trauma center, where he remains in stable condition. About 10 minutes later, dispatch received a call about a second man who had come to the emergency room with a gunshot wound. His condition is also stable.
Detectives said this was not a random shooting, and they do not believe there is an immediate threat to the community. Their investigation is ongoing.
