Boynton Beach Police are investigating a traffic crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Old Boynton Road and North Congress Ave.
Investigation has determined that at around 3:44 p.m., Alan Jones, 63, of Boynton Beach, was driving a red Hartley Davidson Motorcycle east on Old Boynton Road when a blue Lincoln Town Car traveling westbound turned in front of it. The motorcycle struck the Town Car, which was driven by Carol Mackey, 83, of Boynton Beach. Mackey was not injured.
Jones was taken via trauma alert to Delray Medical Center where he was treated for several broken bones.
