It’s only day 2 of the school year and traffic officers have already written 38 tickets for speeding in a school zone – 28 yesterday and 10 this morning. The highest speeds were near Crosspointe Elementary – 41 mph yesterday and 46 mph today.The fine for those speeds…$456! Remember, the speed limit is 20 mph when the lights are flashing yellow. Please slow down. A child’s life depends on it.
