W/M Tasleem Alam was arrested and issued a NTA after investigation revealed he intentionally failed to pay for merchandise in the self-checkout line.

While conducting a call of possible shots fired, contact was made with B/F/J who began to punch and kick an officer on scene. She was placed under arrest and TOT JAC. The officer sustained a possible injury and was treated at a local hospital.
19-059059 1829 hours Burglary Auto NW 1st Ave
At least three unsecured vehicles were reported as entered and property stolen from within overnight. After taking the initial report, PBSO contacted BBPD in regards to them having three individuals in custody. One of them admitted to PBSO detectives post Miranda to unlawfully entering approximately ten vehicles in our jurisdiction over night. Investigation on going.

Victim was woken up by a loud “explosion.” A check of the residence revealed the suspect had thrown several rocks over the second story balcony, striking the sliding glass door, and causing it to shatter.
19-058958 Burglary Auto NW 7thCt 0820hrs
The victim advised that her gray 2017 Mercedes bearing FL-tag LRVS57 was burglarized early this morning. She observed that the vehicle had been ransacked and reviewed her surveillance footage. The footage revealed that two male subjects entered her unlocked vehicle at approx. 0445, rummaged through it, but did not steal any items. The subjects left on foot shortly thereafter out of view of the camera.

The victim advised that her silver Hyundai Santa Fe bearing FL-tag WI92L was burglarized overnight. The vehicle was entered through the unsecured driver side door. No items were missing from inside the vehicle.
19-058971 Burglary Auto NW 10th Ct. 0946hrs
The victim advised that his white Ford F-150 bearing FL-tag HVNI68 was burglarized overnight. The vehicle was entered through an unsecured door. A set of keys was the only thing missing from the vehicle.
19-058987 Suspicious Item 399 N. Congress Ave. (Walgreen’s) 1126hrs
Management called BBPD and advised that a suspicious package had been left in front of the store. Officers located a Styrofoam cooler that appeared to have been sealed with tape. The store was evacuated and a perimeter was established. Traffic had to be rerouted away from the store as well. PBSO K-9 and EOD responded as well as BBFD. EOD arrived on scene and inspected the cooler locating no items of concern inside.

The victim advised that she secured her residence on 10-18-19 and, upon returning home today, observed that her home had been burglarized. The items taken from the residence included: two 50” TV’s, a laptop computer, and several clothing items.
