Officers were on patrol in the area when B/F Shamika Todd was observed in a verbal dispute with another female. During the argument, Todd proceeded to enter a vehicle and intentional attempt to strike the victim with the vehicle. A witness was able to pull the victim out of the way preventing any injury. Todd was TOT PBCJ.

20-002259 Burglary (Auto) 1300 SW 35th Ave (Caloosa Park) 1003hrs
The complainant advised that he parked his silver Chevy (FL-tag Y11WAM) in the parking lot near the racquetball courts. Upon returning to the vehicle, he noticed that his wallet was missing from the center console. The wallet contained several credit cards as well as the victim’s D/L and Social Security Card. There were no signs of forced entry indicating that the vehicle was likely left unsecured.
The complainant advised that he parked his silver Chevy (FL-tag Y11WAM) in the parking lot near the racquetball courts. Upon returning to the vehicle, he noticed that his wallet was missing from the center console. The wallet contained several credit cards as well as the victim’s D/L and Social Security Card. The victim advised that he parked his green Dodge (FL-tag IK50DX) in the east side of the parking lot at approx. 1730hrs. At 1900hrs he received a text alert from his bank advising that a purchase for more than $1,000 had just been made at Game Stop (870 N. Congress Ave). Upon returning to his vehicle, he observed that several credit cards, his FL D/L, and $100 cash was removed. The victim said that he secured the vehicle however there were no signs of forced entry. Investigation ongoing.

Officers responded in reference to a report of a large crowd, large fight, and shots fired. Efforts to disperse the crowd and separate parties led to two arrests for resisting/obstruction. Once the scene was secure, an article search was conducted by K9 for potential firearms in the area, and a canvass was conducted for shell casings – both with negative results. There were no parties reporting injury, and area hospitals were checked with negative results.

Victim’s wallet was stolen at 101 W. Woolbright Rd. A suspect used one of the stolen credit cards at McDonalds 1810 S. Federal Hwy. Officers were able to locate the suspect, while taking him into custody a stolen handgun was located on his person. The suspect, Jhony Noel, was arrested and charged accordingly then turned over to PBSO Main Jail.
