20-005049 1545 hours Accident Serious Bodily Injury N Congress Ave and W Gateway Blvd
Three vehicles were involved in a traffic crash in the intersection of Congress Avenue and W Gateway Blvd. One driver was determined a trauma alert and was transported to the hospital. Two other drivers were transported to hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.

20-005125 2331 hours Burglary Business Forced Entry 706 W Boynton Beach Blvd #108
BBPD units responded to an alarm call at Boost Mobil Cell Phone Store. Upon arrival units found the front glass door to the business completely shattered. An inspection of the business revealed unknown suspect(s) used a rock (3” in diameter) to break the door. Once inside video surveillance captured the suspect move straight to the cash register where he put the contents of the box inside a black backpack. The suspect was described as a thin male approx. 6 feet, wearing black long sleeve hoodie, black shorts with black long-legged underpants, black gloves, black Nike shoes with a cover over his face that appeared to be a black cloth and dark sunglasses/goggles.

20-004964 Burglary (Business) 412 E. Ocean Ave (East Ocean Café) 0801hrs
The victim advised that she arrived at the business this morning to open up and a black male in his 50’s was out front. He requested an employment application. The victim entered the business to retrieve an application leaving her purse on a small rack outside of the bathroom. She walked to the back office to get the application and upon exiting the business saw that the male was gone along with her purse. The purse contained approx. $50 cash, several credit cards and a key to the front door of the business. The suspect is described as heavy set with a bald head and gray beard. He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants and a gray sweat shirt.

The victim flagged down an officer to report that one of his campaign signs had been removed from the front of Robinson’s Bar-B-Que. He advised that he’d last seen the sign on Sunday (01-26-2020). The victim attempted to make contact with someone from Robinson’s regarding the theft of his sign and the possibility that it was captured by surveillance cameras. That person was unhappy with the accusatory tone taken by the victim but advised that he would review the footage at his leisure and provide any information obtained to police. Total loss $20.
