Meticulous work by Det. Danielle Whitefield and Crime Scene Investigator Tina Stidham has led to charges against a seven-time convicted felon for the armed robbery of a man outside an apartment complex in Boynton Beach on Feb. 24.
Misael Uriel Cifuentes is charged with robbery with a firearm, dealing in stolen property, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and false verification of ownership over $300.

His fingerprints were found on a water bottle and cell phone left in an abandoned vehicle that was used during the robbery. Detectives also found a black and red plaid jacket inside the car that matched the description of the one worn by the suspect during the robbery. In addition, a pawn database search revealed Cifuentes sold the victim’s gold chain and pendant at a pawn shop in West Palm Beach in on April 14.
Cifuentes, 31, if currently incarcerated in the St. Lucie County Jail on other charges.
