Traffic officers wrote tickets to 3 drivers who had phones in their hands (and were using them to talk or text) in the school zone at Freedom Shores Elementary School this morning. These tickets carry a $166 fine and 3 points on your license. Remember, it is now against state law to have a phone in your hand in a school zone or construction zone.
