Boynton Beach Police today arrested the owner of a local record shop for running an illegal gambling operation out of the store.
The arrest is the result of a seven month investigation by the Boynton Beach Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force.
Alison J. Henry Abner, owner of the Caribbean Record Shop, 558 E. Gateway Blvd., is charged with bookmaking and keeping a gambling house. She was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.
