18-024495 2028 hours Accidental Injury 320 NW 4th St.
Officers responded to Bethesda Hospital in reference to a gunshot victim with non-life threatening injuries. Upon arrival investigation revealed man had accidentally shot himself in the leg with his 9mm Ruger. FCIC/NCIC revealed no felonious history. Crime Scene responded; no charges were filed.
Officers Castro and Dominguez accounted for a total of three DUI arrests.
18-024378 0816 hours Burglary Auto 2101 W WOOLBRIGHT RD
Officer responded to 2101 W. Woolbright Road in reference to a delayed burglary to auto. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim whom stated that sometime between 5/4/18 2200 – 5/5/18 0730, an unknown suspect entered his black 2011 Honda CRV (FL tag ICNS17). There was no damage to the Honda, and nothing was stolen.
18-024817 0817 hours Burglary Auto 1319 N. Federal Highway (U-Haul)
Officer responded to 441 SW 10th Ave in reference to an auto burglary. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim whom stated that between 2000 hrs. on 5-04-18 and 0630 hrs. on today’s date, unknown person(s) broke into four (4) U-Haul trucks by smashing out a windows in the trucks to gain entry under the hood. The suspects removed batteries from each of the trucks listed.

Officers responded to the above address reference a call of several shots fired. Officers canvassed the area with negative evidence. Local hospitals were checked.
18-024186 0633 hours Burglary Auto 345 SW 7th Ave
Officer responded to 345 SW 7th Ave in reference to a delayed burglary of two vehicles. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim whom stated that her 1998 red Honda Accord (FL TAG 151PUA) and 2018 dark grey Honda Accord (FL TAG JON03) were burglarized and ransacked sometime between May 03, 2018 at 2100 hours and May 4, 2018 0600 hours. The victim was unable to provide any information on a suspect or items taken, and there was no damage to the vehicles.

Officer responded to 441 SW 10th Ave in reference to an auto burglary. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim whom stated that his 2015 blue Nissan Altima (FL GAUZ09) was burglarized and his loaded Charter Arms Undercover 38 special revolver (Serial # 501649) was taken.

Officer responded to 3003 N Evergreen Cir in reference to an auto burglary. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim whom stated that between 5/3/18 2200 – 5/4/18 1040, an unknown suspect entered her unlocked black 2007 Ford F150 (FL tag K302CL) and stole various credit cards.
