Victim reported that unknown suspects entered his vehicle and once inside removed cash and electronics from the back seat of the vehicle. Entry was believed to be made thru a rear window which had been slightly lowered to allow ventilation.
17-041955 1911 hours Burglary Auto 1880 N. Congress Ave (Bonefish Grill).
Victim reported that unknown suspects entered her vehicle by breaking the passenger window and once inside removed a Coach purse valued at $300.00 from the front seat of the vehicle.
17-041962 1940 hours Stolen Vehicle 1889 W. Woolbright Rd. (Green Owl).
Victim stated that unknown suspects stole her vehicle between 0800 and 1900 hours. Victim stated the keys are with the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2015 silver Kia Optima bearing FL tag L560QF. Vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC.
17-041967 1949 hours Burglary Auto 1333 N. Congress Ave (Brus Room).
Victim reported that unknown suspects entered her vehicle by breaking the passenger window and once inside rummaged thru the vehicle. Victim does not believe anything of value was taken.
The B3/4 platoon conducted proactive patrols throughout the shift which resulted in 102 traffic stops and 45 citations issued. Three misdemeanor arrests for narcotics were made during these patrols.
17-041842 0951 hours Police Assist (BB Fire Rescue) 101 W Woolbright RoadUnits responded to the 7-11 in reference to a fire. Officers observed a lot of smoke billowing from the A/C vents but fortunately no flames. BBFR arrived and inspected the business and discovered several frayed wires in the ceiling with their insulation burned/melted off. BBFR advised owner that power could not be restore until a licensed electrician made the necessary repairs.
17-041863 1228 hours Recovered Stolen Auto (PBSO) 409 SW 3rd Avenue
Officers recovered an unoccupied blue 1995 Honda Civic bearing FL tag686RSW which had been reported stolen by PBSO.
17-041699 2138 hours Burglary Auto 1810 S. Federal Hwy (McDonalds).
Victim stated that unknown suspects entered his vehicle by breaking the passenger window between 1900 and 2000 hours. The suspects removed numerous suitcases and bags containing clothing and electronics. Total loss $1,100.]
17-041782 2311 hours Narcotics Arrest 131 E Boynton Beach Blvd
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2009 Chevy Silverado for a traffic infraction. The driver, B/M Curtis Allen, was determined to be in possession of 4.7 grams of marijuana. Allen was issued an NTA on scene.
The B3/4 platoon conducted proactive patrols throughout the shift which resulted in 82 traffic stops and 33 citations issued.
17-041555 0800 hours Burglary (Auto) 2508 SW 23rd Cranbrook Drive
Victim stated that between 2300 hours on 7/21/17 and 0745 hours this A.M. unknown person(s) entered his gray 2015 Kia Forte bearing FL tag BVWZ53 by smashing the front passenger side window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) rummaged through the car and took an insulated lunch bag ($40.00).
17-041561 0840 hours Stolen Auto 240 NE 6th Avenue
The manager of J & S auto called to advise that a customer’s white 2010 Hyundai Elantra bearing NY tag HKS8589 from his shop between 1630 hours on 07/21/17 and 0830 hours this A.M. Victim/Customer was contacted in NY and advised no one had permission to take his car. The Hyundai was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
17-041586 1055 hours Burglary (Auto) 2608 SW 23rd Cranbrook Drive
Victim stated that between 2230 hours on 7/21/17 and 1045 hours this A.M. unknown person(s) entered his burgundy 2011 Honda Accord bearing FL tag EDJK78 by smashing the front driver’s side window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) took her black & gold colored wallet containing credit cards and $80 cash.

Victim stated that unknown suspects pushed her down and stole her belongings while she was walking thru the parking garage. Victim gave conflicting statements regarding the event and may be suffering from mental issues.
17-041490 2354 hours Failed to Stop 3000 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Officers attempted to stop a 2016 white Jeep bearing FL tag AMFN76. The jeep was last seen turning into the Sandcastle area. Surrounding agencies were notified.
17-041428 1600 hours Missing Adult 118 NW 14th Street.
B/M RALEIGH ROLAND JENKINS (DOB 01/04/1940) was reported missing by his family. He was last seen driving a 2005 black Ford F150 FL tag L71VY. PIO notified. F/NCIC entry completed. Silver Alert activated. See Major Case log for details. At 0250 hrs, BBPD was notified by FHP that troopers located Mr. Jenkins in Osceola County. Silver Alert was then cancelled and family was notified.

Officers attempted a traffic stop on a red motorcycle (NOI) occupied by a white male driver. Pursuit was terminated and the motorcycle was last seen northbound on N Seacrest Blvd. Surrounding agencies notified.
17-041515 0148 hours Failed to Stop 500 W Boynton Beach Blvd
Officers attempted to stop a 2001 Toyota Corolla bearing FL EFRA61. The vehicle entered I-95 southbound and pursuit was terminated. Surrounding agencies notified.
17-041530 0300 hours Failed to Stop/Resist Arrest without Violence 2100 NW 1st St
Officers attempted to stop a 2005 Nissan Sentra bearing FL 1033TE. The vehicle failed to stop and continued to travel northbound on NW 1st St. The vehicle then came to a sudden stop in front of 2751 NW 1st St and the driver bailed out running westbound in between the houses. Perimeter was set up and K-9 unit attempted to track for the subject with negative results. Driver was not located.
The platoon responded to 1 non-fatal overdose during the course of the shift.

Victim reported that between 1200 hours and 1800 hours on 07/19/17 unknown person(s) stole his blue 2013 Chevy Spark bearing FL BBDW04 from the parking lot of Publix. The vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC

Officers responded to the intersection of Miner Road & Congress Avenue in reference to a car vs. Moped traffic crash. The operator of the Moped suffered a fractured leg and was transported to JFK Hospital.
