15-017536 1737 hrs Leaving the Scene of a Crash 400 W Boynton Beach Blvd
A black Mercedes was involved in a crash with two vehicles. After impact, the Mercedes fled the area. The victim of the crash sustained minor injuries due to impact. Officer Medeiros located the vehicle at 812 NW 6th Ave. and Officer Hanning located the driver at her residence. A show up was conducted that yielded positive for ID. The driver of the Mercedes, Aleksandra Zynis, was taken to Bethesda Hospital for medical clearance and later transported to CJ.
15-017575 2043 hrs Shots Fired 119 NW 10th Ave.
Units responded to the area reference to shots fired. When Officers arrived, witnesses pointed to a subject that was running west bound on NW 10th Ave. During the foot pursuit, Officers observed B/M James T. Frederick drop a small purse that contained a firearm. Soon thereafter, James T. Frederick was apprehended by Sgt. Llopis (Taser deployed), Officer Schalk (pepper spray), Officer Webster, and Officer N Davis. James T. Frederick was transported to Bethesda Hospital and later forwarded to C.J. Multiple shell casings were located and no one was injured due to the shooting. Witnesses were uncooperative during this incident. It should be noted that James T. Frederick was also sent up to C.J. on previous P.C. that Officer Sohn had developed reference to case number 15-017402.
15-017565 2053 hrs Burglary to Residence (In progress) 12106 Mahogany Bay Dr.
Witness observed 2 males exiting his neighbor residence. Upon police arrival, they fled the area towards the Sand & Sea Development. A perimeter was set, with the assistance of the Eagle, which resulted in negative results. C.S. responded.
