UPDATE on City of Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department openings:

Friday – May 1, 2020, All City of Boynton Beach, Government parks will be open from sunrise to sunset for walking, running, strolling biking. Playgrounds and basketball courts will remain closed. Group sports activities and organized practices are prohibited. Tennis Courts & Outdoor Pickleball Courts will be open for singles play only. Only individual practice is allowed on racquetball courts.
The Boynton Beach Tennis Center will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for singles play or private tennis lessons (pro and player only). No leagues or group lessons permitted. Face masks not required during play but recommended while in Pro Shop.
The Links at Boynton Beach will reopen on Monday, May 4. Players can start booking tee-times now. Tee-times will be every 14 minutes. Gold carts will be single rider only. Call (561) 742-6500 for more info/with questions.

The following remains closed until further notice: Oceanfront Park; Ezell Hester Center; Carolyn Sims Center (lunch program will continue as scheduled); Boynton Beach Senior Center (meals program will continue as scheduled); John Denson pool, cultural center, playgrounds, fitness zones, Barrier Free Splash pad, pavilions (All rentals canceled through end of May and not taking new reservations yet); dog parks; athletic fields.
